This whole barchie thing that the writers are doing is not good. I mean, a huge part of the fan base are big bughead fans (including myself) and also, though they’re not as huge, varchie fans are not happy either. We have known these characters for 4 seasons now and we all know that even though at first it seemed as betty and archie were meant for eachother, betty fell in love with jug and forgot all about her past feelings towards archie. Yes, they did have some moments, but it only happenned because they were going through some hard times and there was no true love between them. If they want to keep this show running through 3 more seasons, they are going to have to bring back bughead, and it better be on good conditions, cause we don’t want the four cour breaking up.

The producers of Riverdale have no reason to put Archie and Betty together because the favorite couple of the series is Bughead and they know that everyone will be disappointed if they don't end up together. They also for over 3 years built something strong between Betty and Jug and it would be really weird that all of a sudden they would stop it all. So my final opinion is that they just want to make some love story to put suspense but that in the end Bughead will be back (I hope) 3. I saw that someone had talked about 'a hypothesis on the end video that Charle faked it so that Jughead and Betty are not together. I almost agree apart from the fact that I think he does this to take revenge on Betty for what she did in Chic (because they still haven't explained to us what is between Chic and Charle)

But I know that the writers are trolling us, they would never separate one of the most adored and beautiful couples in the series. I will continue to watch Riverdale because I know that even if they wanted to put together betty and archie it wouldn't work, it would last a maximum of 2 episodes. I am 100% sure that betty is in love with jughead, you can see how guilty she felt after he left her room. I have read many articles and almost everyone has said that this is a bullshit and that Riverdale without the bughead / varchie is not Riverdale.
Who would solve the mysteries? The only time betty and archie worked together they caught the wrong blackhood. While betty and jughead are the best investigators and they work best of all, Riverdale would not go on without them.
They are young and they all make mistakes but then they repent and understand what they have done. It's true, when jug and veronica come to find out they will be very bad and will be injured and I don't know what will happen. I only know that after all this is going to end we would have the stronger bughead and varchie again.🤞❤😭🥰
I 100% agree. They can't break a bond so strong. Bughead split apart before but only for a short matter of time. Jughead plans on having a future with Betty, and Betty was worried. She made a mistake but mistakes don't last forever. Archie is still figuring out who he is and Betty is figuring out what she's going to do. Bughead and Varchie are strong and can't be torn apart. 😭🤧❤
