one more trick. dropping a rolled bar (you always have it at that stage) on the top of the kite around a valve helps a Lot. especially with a bigger sized kite
I'm upwind of the kite and rolling downwind indeed, but when you deflate the kite it's under an angle (not pointing exactly downwind) That's why I say that the person should move upwind. (hope that makes sense)
When the kite is wet i always do this, because I know I roll up my kite again afterwards to let it dry; It is not the correct way to roll it up like this, because the tubes to your struts and inflates of them as well will easily bend/break when rolling your kite up like this. Own experience, give it a try, but definitely not worth it
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience when doing this. I've been doing it like this for a long as I can remember and never had any trouble with the one pump system because of it. But I also have to say that my kites are usually quite new 🙈
Duotone has a different valve system where they put the deflate valve at the end of the tip. So you can just roll from one side to the other which is even easier
I’m speechless… genius 🎉
😂
Love it use it all the time now!
Awesome! I'm glad to hear that!
Top tip!
Thanks John, glad you like it 🤙
Thank you, BRILLIANT!!!!!!!
You're welcome!
Specially when you're in the wind. 🎉😊
So true!
What I always do. So simple I don’t know why most don’t do the same
So natural for some, whilst others never thought about it.
@@stevenakkersdijk isn’t it destroying the kite?
try it with 15m youll know

Yes, I can see how that will help you out 🤙
Hehe, even smooth when rolling Kite :-)
I try 😅
Try it on 17m kite this
I did, doesn't work so nice. I use this technique for every kite under 13m, bigger than that I usually do it the classic way.
I always do it this way. I saw a video years ago that called it the taco method.
The Taco method, I like it!
I think you're rolling downwind, right? In the video you say, "move upwind"

👍👍👍👍
Hope it was helpfull

Works well but not so good on duotone

Doe ik ook al 16 jaar
Top, dan weet je hoe makkelijk het is.

Oh yes, good to be back!
Где это место?
High key always been doing it wrong
😅 not really a wrong way, just less quick
Practical
I like to think so 🤙
Try again with a 15sqm ;)
Usually you use the 15sqm in such light winds that it's not a problem to roll it towards the middle from both sides 😉
10 лет так сворачиваю кайт
10 years is a long time
The German style
I don't think this is linked to the Germans specifically 😅
