I would like to add basic functions. I have a pit lane. I would like to count laps, car positions, and fuel gauge. Should I go with 4 driver displays or one of the software applications on a laptop? I run 1/24.
You don't need the drivers displays if you run software. The Carrera app does all that for you. From what I've seen it is an all in one app. I personally don't use it as I have all the pre app toys in the video so there was no need to update. The software I use is for computers (Not cell phone) and it does everything the app does. It was written by Bruce Yingling and is excellent. It is free but if you would like to donate something I'm sure it would be appreciated. If you do a Google search for "Bruce Yingling Rms software" it will pop up. Running a computer does require a PC to CU cable which is available from digital racing solutions.
i struggled with this today, really annoying that it was flashing all the time and not burning fuel, so we gave up trying to race the 100 laptops as fuel was not being recorded.
Dave yes it will work like that if you don't get on the throttle. Getting on the throttle will cut off fuel. Also try taking the car off the track completely and then hold down the fuel button.**IT WILL STILL FUEL UP**
You need to stamp on the throttle fully when exiting it. It sends a impulse to the CPU that turns off the pit mode. If you leave gradually you will have this issue. Good job w your channel cheers
Normal function. I believe it is +50% throttle that ends the pit cycle. Great for long pitlanes, as it forces a slowdown in the pits.

I don't understand. What was flashing? Are you using any type of software or apps? Drivers displays?
@@dw5555 its the fuel side - the thing kept flashing - was on the mobile app by carrera, but want to look at windows based software next
@@dw5555 so thanks for making the video it explained it well
Appreciate the info guys not that it will ever be used.
It is a great concept that allows you to remove the car from the track well refueling to do quick adjustments and clean tires

HA, too funny. It works, basically just rolled through my normal pitlane with "fuel Island" and stopped past the first curve and fueled. WHO KNEW.
It’s not your track or the lane change. It’s in the system. I did a video about this: m.ua-cam.com/video/ud8q5dfFlzo/v-deo.html
