maybe on a bigger track, like fuji speedway. But on a track like tsukuba the STI is superior to the M3. it has AWD, shortened gear ratios, lots of torque low in the rev range, wich is an advantage on a small track. Also AWD has a big advantage at the start
Just needed some extra time,being held up for so long then catching up like it did it would have passed given some extra laps then it would have made a gap. Look at the best laps 105 bmw 106 sti. Different league the m3,all the cars here are great in their own way but the m3 is the daddy. That’s not even the Comp pack model also which would be a little better.

M3 had the fastest lap time and you're still crying. Tsukuba is a tiny circuit where overtaking is not easy in corners. This is the natural result.
Check the best laps and time attack results. This is a small circuit and still the two bmw were faster
At greece bmw 135 or 335 1st stage ecu echaust intercooler wg and wmi goes 380 to 400whp. With m3 e92 are a lot faster the 135 and 335...
Just depends who u run. Into . Not everyone's m3 is "fast".just like how not all civics are built like Mugen ... Only can compare if stock vs stock ..
