I say this as a big Mignola fan, don't buy the BPRD hardcovers! The binding is bad on a lot of the earlier ones and the new paperback omnis are printed in a better reading order with more stuff peppered in. The books are like $19 each on IST, save yourself hundreds of dollars in oop markups

@@Illuminerdy_ ugh my budget haha thanks man! Yeah Batman is a done deal for me just a matter of time. Williamson has been a writer I’ve come to enjoy a lot recently and I love a good Superman book so I may need to look at that more seriously
Nice video I do like a good haul. Great choice with Hellboy Library editions, so pleased to hear they are evergreen, was worried they would be OOP before I could afford to complete the set.
Yeah I feel the library editions are a great choice for me and the collection. They are such beautiful books not to mention the incredible world that each book contains!

So many great books here, but you KNOW I'm thrilled most about that Power Rangers Year 1. Not long ago, that book was a major whale and was going for $200. So glad you were able to pick it up on the cheap. And for Nice House On The Lake, you should be confused going in. You want as blind a read as possible. Really good story that you might end up reading in one sitting because it's so gripping
I had a feeling you would LOVE that year 1 pickup! Me and you both are super happy that those are not longer crazy prices at least currently. And yes I am super duper confused about nice house on the lake haha but I have heard similar things like what you said so I’m going in as blind as possible now that I got it.

I also picked up Thor, also got the Image Witchblade HCs 1-3, Parker Girls by Terry Moore and finally decided to buy the Onslaught Omni now that Road to… has been announced. Also finally got Batman by Snyder/Capullo 1 after so many good reviews. And a copy of Acts of Vengeance Omni.
I really wanna snag those witchblade books also! Saw that Omnidog got them and I was jealous. I really need to stop dragging my feet on the Snyder and Capullo Batman Omnis, it really is a great run. And nice that’s a whale right there! I hope to hear your thoughts on those once you read them!
