If you make it to a boss room and wipe at the boss, the shortcut feature will now take you to the boss room instead of starting at the previous boss room and you having to run through the empty dungeon to get there.
This is such a good change. Honestly, happened a few times, especially with new players that aren't used to a boss gimmick or new mechanics and this makes it so much less frustrating.

2.X Players can now use the mouse to drag and drop actions onto or off of the W cross hotbar. This is huge! It's annoyed me ever since day 1 of playing FFXIV. And now it's fixed.

They're so scared of stuff clipping when that should be a decision left to the player instead. No reason we should not have more long hairstyles in a FANTASY game
long hair causes a ton of issues with clipping, it needs to stretch polygon counts and that often causes wierd motion, or you have to ponytail or pin it in such a way as to not have those issues but you get "another short hairstyle"
I really need the Picto Job trainer to tell me to "Take your brush and just beat the devil out of it" when fighting an enemy. This would be very in character if the job teacher is in fact a moogle. lol
If you did the Yokai event recently you went under Collection to see where to use the minions on which maps. The Yokai Medallium. And for the hunt of genesis, I'd claim the weekly and mini mog challenges under Collection, Mogpendium, instead of teleporting to one of the three cities. Just to claim the tomes, not to trade for a reward. I don't know if people knew about these.
Unless you already have it on your hotbar like I do! I do all that shit straight up weeks before. Link it to your HUD hotbar for actions and you're good. I'm one lazy Warrior main, who likes the easy classes, so Making it easy on yourself for key item and glam sets is a must for MSQ grinding. Also, have hyper potions and useful foods that give xp and battle stat buffs on hotbar linked to your inventory. That saves tons of time.
I think that new hairstyle is in the picture of new Gold Saucer items. Short.. I have plenty of those. I need a good shag haircut. A short, medium and long.

So what's the ideal method for ensuring we don't get booted from the game now that a 30 minute afk timer has been set? Maybe putting something against your control stick so you're constantly running while you run to the store. Or maybe crafting 99 stacks of something.
the alliance gear change is addressing the problem i saw when they first announced it, you can be lvl x0 long before you get to .x alliance, which means the moment you hit 60 before even getting to hw you were either completely locked out of alliance raid, or you bought gear off the mb to compensate, this limits that to only what you have UNLOCKED, which is more forgiving with all the xp buffs
They deffo reduced the range of view of that npc for the indicator. I was hid behind a tree 3 times further than that and she saw me and failed the quest. Same with that kid.

The alliance raid roulette wording is a helpful change if say you want to queue as a lvl 79 reaper with Scaevan gear. You meet all the requirements for doing Rabanastre, but under the previous wording you would have to get new gear before you were allowed to queue because Scaevan caps out at 400 ilvl and your lvl 79 gear requirement is 418 ilvl. Nuanced, but good change!

I hope we dont have to lock on to the character we need to block anymore. My stalker has a million alts and now i have to block them again, i shouldnt have to find them to block them. It's bad im more happy to no be harrased then the new expansion smh
When barring a player from your property. It should be that you and the other player are on your property, and you kill the other player, and death comes and drags the dead player off the property.

There's one nice mount that you get for getting all combat jobs to lv 80, but apart from that there's nothing that makes levelling all jobs a must. There are also some nice role quests you can do if you have at least one job of each type levelled too. You can even level other jobs you don't want to play without even playing them by using frontlines or tribal quests should you ever want to. I do that with Monk 😅
46:00 -- looks like I'm out of luck for that brute justice mount. I'm on Dynamis. We can't DC travel for that entire time. The admins are gonna restrict travel from Dynamis worlds to the servers where PVP actually happens. I guess I'll have to put up with the 1 hour ques or just do tons of crystal conflict eh? Frontlines is how I leveled my side classes like Ninja and Gunbreaker. But those are on hold for a good while. Also, I'm just going to do MSQ for July anyways. I suggest everyone relax and enjoy the story for that month only. It's not like we get expansions often. The last one was 2.5 years ago. It's been a while.
They are allowing others to travel into Dynamis though so I would suspect the queues will be shorter than normal as ppl move to Dynamis to avoid long queues on other worlds
The fact that the False Shaded Spectacles are now face wear and they are currently an extinct item... I really hope they start making old PvP series rewards available in game again, some how. Either make them purchasable in the PVP shops, make them available for Moogle Treasure Troves, or 7 Hells make them available in the cash shop. The fact that so make rewards are FOMO is terrible especially when trial players are not aloud back into PVP even though we are going on a three year unfulfilled promise that the ban would be temporary.
When CC started they had said past rewards would become avaliable by other means in the future. They have yet to follow up on that unfortunately. I did notice however this past season the Fierce Coffer was a repeat from a previous season so I think they can run through them again in the future by the same means as Series PvP rewards. It seems likely I just hope im right. I have most of the rewards except 2 of the mounts, the dragon and a robot, so im not in a total loss but it would be nice to get everything

Oh man, the amount of times I start a nonvoiced cutscene with auto advance still on from the voiced cutscene from a few minutes ago and missing the first line or the last half of the line is too many. That "only auto advance voiced lines" setting is going to be on all the time for me.
The way I read the alliance raid ilevel change is, you can't level healers and tanks by intentionally forcing the alliance raid roulette to pop a crystal tower raid every day. My deepest condolences to everyone in advance
