- Hello everyone! The video today is about zooming in to find hidden treasures!
The smallest things can bring a smile to my face, joy to my heart, and make me see life from another perspective, allowing me to understand that everything I need, desire, and look for is within my reach!
All I need is to “zoom in,” meaning getting closer to God to have a glimpse of the unseen, and it’s amazing!
Meditating on the word of God, my heart was guiding me to go learn as always from nature. I needed to zoom in with my camera and with my heart. Everything in life has more meaning than I can imagine.
Then, I played a little bit to relax my mind and enjoy the day. The cold water energised my senses.
Zooming in on each tiny flower on my path, I realized how much I had missed by only giving it a cursory glance. To see even more, I would love to have a microscope. Those cute tiny flowers on the stone wall somehow called my attention when I was passing by to question me about some important things.
Who can determine their size, importance, and beauty from their appearance? How were they created, and by Whom? Are they really small?
Despite its size, its grandeur caught my attention. How can something so small contain mysteries and life lessons?
Was it a test from God? Am I really aware of the gifts He puts in my path? Or do I judge them by their size or success? Do I ignore what does not seem significant to my limited mind? Maybe God just wanted to show me that when I think I am too small to do something appreciable, I should change the channel to hear His voice telling me that His Divine part that lives in me can do anything.
Perhaps I try to see everything beyond the superficial, but I am forgetting to look within. I’m always learning from nature, and looking at those tiny flowers, I understand that even though they look so fragile, when I go back after a stormy day, they are still there. The delicate petals were not damaged; they are still smiling!
I learned that when I let myself be carried away by distractions, or when I’m concerned about things that are not important, or when I don’t stop to smell the roses, I stop seeing the beauty around me and within me. I lose my focus, I drift away from my purpose, and I disconnect from the truth that there is a Divine world for me to delve into to discover the new blooming inside me. Also, new and more gratifying ways of living, new thoughts, and new dreams, and God’s hand will always dissipate the clouds!
Looking at the flowers, distracted by my own thoughts, I can see how beautiful they are, but I can’t see the details that define them or how important they are. They feed the pollinators; they feed the world! The details inside me are the ones that define me. If I don’t pay attention to them, I lose my essence, the biggest part of me.
When I painted the petals of a daisy, the most joyful flower of all, I thought that each petal was a miracle and that this beautiful and smiling flower contained microscopic structures planned with great perfection.
In reality, the daisy is a collection of tiny flowers grouped together to make it look like a single big flower to attract pollinators. I ask myself: Are the gifts and talents that I received from God grouped together to attract pollinators to spread His light?
Next time you admire a daisy, be aware that you are looking at one of the perfect plans designed by God! I am a biologist. It explains why I love to explore the mysteries of life. It’s fascinating and captivating! Even more when I put it under a spiritual microscope to explore another world. It reminds me not to look at my life with limited vision but to keep in mind that there is a hidden world full of possibilities inside me, miraculously programmed for a purpose, and it is amazing! Because the Creator is awesome! What makes us bigger is what’s inside us. Zooming in on this truth, I grow bigger with a wide vision of life, myself, and my possibilities. It is like turning to the light like the flowers do.
Every time I paint, write, and make videos, I am also turning to the light, answering a call to use my talents with love, to grow spiritually, to warm my heart, and to attract beautiful butterflies!
