I call that the “Lebron Effect” we treat all our players like lebron now ....we force them to over compensate when they lose like we did lebron .....lebron is once in a lifetime player we can’t put lebron expectation on players cause they most likely won’t achieve it.
I don't agree. Lebron put high expectations on himself. He never denied he was "the chosen one " and he went on record multiple times, including his first 8 years with CLE , that he was chasing Jordan. He set that standard upon himself so now when he accomplishes something it is never seen as great because it's nothing beyond MJ. Lebron didn't even leave CLE cuz he wanted to, they just had terrible management and coaching and he wanted a better organization, which was MIA at the time. But holding great players to a standard of elevating themselves isn't wrong. Lebron is the best version of himself right now. Giannis has more to go and he should get better to increase his chances.
Yeah they shouldn't have lost to Miami especially so soon. They just fall short come playoffs. Having the best record all season is great but they need to step it up come playoffs. The bucks need 1 more good player i feel
The MVP award is based on your REGULAR SEASON performance. This is the reason why James Harden and Russell Westbrook got an MVP trophy. There is no "Playoffs MVP" which i honestly wish that exists due to situations like this. Why Giannis deserves the MVP? 1. He has excellent stats in the reg. season. He ranked 2nd overall in scoring, 4th overall in rebounds, and led all MVP candidates in FG%. 2. Milwaukee Bucks has the best record in the reg season. 3. Giannis best team mate is not even a top 20 player. I know Bron fans are upset. Dont worry, the Lakers will win the chip this season and Bron will get the FMVP.
@Alex Ruiz Not sure about that. The NBA has been giving reg season MVP trophies late in the playoffs for decades. Though i agree with u that they should cast and tally the votes earlier and then announce it after the season is over.

Are we gonna ignore drays pure honesty about his championships with KD. It takes a real man to come out and say “oh yeah the road was easier.” KD has yet to admit he took the easy way out and it’s embarrassing that he really thinks what he did was just normal. Much respect to Dray.
Zando Lee The Miami 3 wasn’t an easy way out there were all time great teams during their run. The KD warriors had no competition in the finals against those cavs teams and if KD was with them vs Toronto they win by sweep. Teaming up to create a great team is one thing, joining a 73 win team that you blew a 3-1 lead to is not even comparable stop it.
@@Eddiefkndiff I disagree with KD Toronto would have been swept and LBJ going to Miami was to form a super team, he was not going to win in Cleveland his first time around. In his second stint the Cavs brought in supporting players.
@@Eddiefkndiff Lol 2017 cavs team was just as stacked as anyone who could challenge for the titles. Get your facts right. Kd vs Bron Steph vs Kyrie Klay vs JR(he was still a sharpshooter back then) Dray vs Kev Both teams had solid role players too. Cavs got Korver, D-will, Shumpert.. It was a fair, well-matched up fight between 2 great teams.
that's why i respect chuck. he left the organizations because he didn't have help and he knew when he got older that was the time he joined houston for a last hurrah.
When Jordan won MVP and DPOY he and his team lost 4-1 to the pistons in the second round. The bulls scored 77 in one game, 79, 82, and 95 in their other loses. Multiple times Jordan did not perform well... to a pistons teams that lost in the finals..
Jordan averaged 27.4 for that series...not his best playoff series performance ever but averaging almost 30 points isn't exactly underperforming either. Anyone who watched that series would remember that the Jordan Rules were heavily enforced, that man was flat out abused in that series. I remember watching it...it was horrible. I don't know how he even averaged what he did. It was brutal. In 88, Jordan was still very slim, he had to put on some muscle after that. Chuck Daly knew if you limit Jordan from going off for 40 plus a night, the Bulls would crumble. Jordan was phenomenal in the regular season. The regular season isn't the playoffs. Great coaches will plan for teams too dependant on one transcendent player a la Milwaukee with Giannis. That's why they eventually had to move on from Doug Collins to Phil and the triangle offense because as great as Jordan was, in the playoffs, coaching really comes into play, you have to have ball movement and have to be able to make adjustments for when teams try to key in on stopping your superstar. Giannis needs a better coach who's better at playing playoff chess.
Clippers lost cuz it was rigged. 2k21 already lets you know. Kawhi and pg rigged it for kobe. They combined for 24 points 8 assist and 10 (usa) rebounds. Its rigged for kobe. He was sacrificed
I like the way Dreymond answered that last question. There wasnt any shade thrown at KD, he even tried to make such a statement how it was simply better because it was the first. And when probe for a deeper answer he never took that path, but instead explained how much easier it was with KD, so of course doing it the harder way without him was more fulfilling.
Go Chuck! Tell it like it is! Monster of a player and a true gent as a commentator. Love ya! :) Love all of them, actually. Great athletes and great people too. And may Giannis keep improving!

No it’s not a regular season award there’s nothing stipulating that it’s a regular season award they just gave the award before the playoffs started and it just shaped into being a regular season award but there nothing in the rules saying MVP is a regular season award
Yeah he's 25 and I think he can stay where he is and bring players to Milwaukee but how long will that window be open to win the title? Unless you're a generational player who everyone knows will be at the top for 10 plus years, nobody knows tomorrow. It is that uncertainty that creates pressure to get one while you're still on top. Or make sure you're on top for a long time so you have many chances to win.

The expectations are too much when for the most part, all other prospects burn out
Well deserved MVP but kinda embarrassing that he got knocked out the playoffs that early
Lebron got knocked out in the 2nd round in 2010 as an MVP.
MJ won both DPOY and MVP and got bounced in 88 2nd round
At least he didn’t win MVP and lose to a #8 seed in the first round like Dirk did in 2007.
Russel Westbrook won MVP and lost in the first round in 2017.
Taylor Nickels poor Dirk
Yeah they shouldn't have lost to Miami especially so soon. They just fall short come playoffs. Having the best record all season is great but they need to step it up come playoffs. The bucks need 1 more good player i feel
Looks like Draymond prepping himself for an early retirement!!!
Early? No just building for when he does
Shiid why not? He already a champ! Preserve your body and get that easy bread now. All you gotta do is apeak a bout a game you know very well
If the Warriors don't get Giannis, he'll be joining the desk full time.
Nahhh..., that's a great platform for his team to get a marque free agent players (tempering or not)
The MVP award is based on your REGULAR SEASON performance.
Well spoken, I don’t get how people are not understanding regular season mvp.
@Alex Ruiz this make people feel wierd.
@Alex Ruiz Not sure about that. The NBA has been giving reg season MVP trophies late in the playoffs for decades. Though i agree with u that they should cast and tally the votes earlier and then announce it after the season is over.
i still think it's the heat who win this time... jimmy buckets wins the fmvp...
I agree with everything until I read Middleton not a top 20 player during the regular season. He was cooking and even scored 50.
“What do you think about his future, Chuckster?”
-Ernie
😂
idk why it's funny but it is!
That's what I'm talking about. I actually want Giannis to win and become the greatest player in Milwaukee history. He has that potential.
Love Chuck. He always keeps it 💯.
I'd like to see CP3 join Milwaukee.
👀 👀 if Giannis elevates his game, that would be such a great addition
Imagine all the lobs CP3 would be throwing to Giannis!
I agree, Bledsoe is too inconsistent during the playoffs and CP would defo take the spotlight away from Giannis.
@@1987benhur cp3 is about to retire tho only a few more seasons and his gone. I wish he gets another teammate like deandre back when he was in the clippers I want that lob action.
Making that salary line up close for a trade is going to be the problem. OKC doesn’t want to be saddled with Bledsoe, not with the analytics saying the 30yr old is on his way down, and down hard. projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nba-player-projections/eric-bledsoe/
Are we gonna ignore drays pure honesty about his championships with KD. It takes a real man to come out and say “oh yeah the road was easier.” KD has yet to admit he took the easy way out and it’s embarrassing that he really thinks what he did was just normal. Much respect to Dray.
Did LeBron ever admitted he took the easy way as well?
@@Eddiefkndiff it was an easy way out for LeBron, stop it. Instead of grinding it in Cleveland he left to join his friends, Wade and Bosh, in Miami.
@@Eddiefkndiff Lol 2017 cavs team was just as stacked as anyone who could challenge for the titles. Get your facts right.
Kd vs Bron
Steph vs Kyrie
Klay vs JR(he was still a sharpshooter back then)
Dray vs Kev
Both teams had solid role players too. Cavs got Korver, D-will, Shumpert.. It was a fair, well-matched up fight between 2 great teams.
wow what a reaction...
"Do we have a problem with Giannis winning"
"Nope"
Klay Thompson? Yawp Splash Bros? Yawp Cavaliers? Nope We won? Yawp They Lost? Yawp We here? Yawp They not? Nope Giannis winning is a problem? Nope
that's why i respect chuck. he left the organizations because he didn't have help and he knew when he got older that was the time he joined houston for a last hurrah.
“I’ll try not to” 💀😂
That's ALREADY tampering
I like the way Draymond talked about the grind the warriors had to go through to get to be champs 💪. Good talk
When Jordan won MVP and DPOY he and his team lost 4-1 to the pistons in the second round.
The bulls scored 77 in one game, 79, 82, and 95 in their other loses. Multiple times Jordan did not perform well... to a pistons teams that lost in the finals..

@@atipsy69 nah i knew the truth just mj stans said and thought that
@Shahrukh Mushtaq in golf maybe
He did it Chuck! He won the Championship with the Bucks with 50 in the Final Game! One year after this.....
He might get his first ring this week
It's done!)
Low key shade on KD and gsw
so?
Yes, and I agree with them.
It was shade on every one cheat their way to the finals. Like Lebron, KD, KG.

because they weren't humble. That's all.
Clippers lost cuz it was rigged. 2k21 already lets you know. Kawhi and pg rigged it for kobe. They combined for 24 points 8 assist and 10 (usa) rebounds. Its rigged for kobe. He was sacrificed
@@jamesbell187 So it is the refs' fault they both scored 0 in the 4th quarter?
@@michaeldesanta7746 no its kawhi and pg fault
Giannis' bucks won it this year the right way.. This championship mean more to NBA fans than the last 5 years at least
The only reason why Bucks won was because all the best teams not injured (Nets, Lakers, Clippers)
Chuck and Shaq: talking about how Giannis should star.
Draymond: 😐🤫
Draymond so deserves to be there on the panel every single time man!!
you did it champ
Man Draymond is awesome he fit right in with the fellas. I hope he joins after his career. For sure there's more championships in store for him tho
Chuck talking about teams that partnered with other guys, Draymond:.....
Go Chuck! Tell it like it is! Monster of a player and a true gent as a commentator. Love ya! :) Love all of them, actually. Great athletes and great people too. And may Giannis keep improving!
Draymond: ima let y’all finish but the warriors are one of the franchises and orgs in the basketball pantheon
*You appreciate it more when you work so hard for it, instead of it being given* 💯💯💯
I'm here after watching Giannis become a champion :)
Chuck is the smartest NBA analyst.....sometimes. this is one of those times. I would love to see more players stick with the teams that drafted them.
This is facts
The way Draymond explains it is like inviting Giannis to his team.
You mean Stephs team...
Of course he is
Draymond you not slick you wearing the same outfit you wore on tnt last month😬😂
If my suit cost as much as his you bet I would wear it multiple times!

Yes, it would have been LESS awkward...
And should take in consideration that stats aren't everything 😒

As always, an interesting offseason ahead of us, especially for Bucks, Clips, Sixers, and Rockets.
Draymond is securing his future after he finishes his time on the court! 💯
But didnt shaq leave orlando for LA?
Yeah. But did you know why he left Orlando?
No Free agency. Shaq wanted to stay in Orlando. Shaq began to offer Shaq big money and Orlando began to make excuses not to pay Shaq

Draymond was really built to be a basketball analyst. He’s so articulate
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think Chuck is also talking mostly about LeBron I am bouncing from team to team to win all these championships
LeBron left the first time because Cleveland was trash. Miami wasn't a contender before or after him. He went back to win one for his home team. He went to L.A. because that's where he wants to live.
That's not the same as KD going to GS or some of these other guys and I think Chuck knows that.
