Wyatt, you're a great guy. I'd have no problem working for you (I'm 60). Guys who have a problem with working for someone younger are just insecure with where THEY are in life. That's THEIR problem, not yours. You're doing a great job. The right employee will find YOU. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll succeed. Keep growing your business, keep growing your channel. Your success in business and personal life is in your hands so, your goals are very attainable. As always, best of luck to you. God bless!
Well said Lou he seems like a great guy very hard working keep it up buddy I'm from pa too I start my lawn care last year but this is gonna be my real year in 2020
Man oh man Wyatt! I watched your video on how to make door hangers from 2017, you look much older even tho it was only 3 years ago, but now watching some other of your videos! I'm 20 rn and watching only 3 of your videos really inspired me to get the ball rolling with my pressure washing business! Thank you sir. Wish you the best of luck reaching your goals in 2020!
Wow that's awesome haha! So glad to hear that your going for it! I have no doubt that you can succeed! I believe is a whole community on here as well specifically for pressure washing. And thank goodness I've changed a little over the years!🤣✌️
Wyatte you inspired me to go out and finance a Brand New commercial 36 in Gravely Prostance with only 2 accounts. Now I have 70 accounts on and off 2 employees on and off and I also later financed a 52 inch Scagg bc they mulch oak leaves so well. I also work a full time job with the City. Employees come and go so I believe in paying well when you find the right one. Your an inspiration
That's awesome man! Congrats on the success that you earned with your hard work and dedication 😎🙌 I'm proud of you my dude! 2020 will be even better for you!
I too achieved my goal of Hoping that you would be very successful. Work ethic is a major key to success. That is why you DOUBLED your revenues. Clients recognize good work ethics and spread the "word" about Wyatt's Lawn Mowing Service. I remember 2 of the employees from early 2019; and new that they did not appreciate earning money from a 19 / 20 year old (who looks younger than 20); and did not appreciate taking direction from a younger Owner / Boss.. I can say it will be extremely difficult to find an employee that can come close to your "work ethic". Very happy & pleased of hearing this update. Well done
Appreciate it Mr. Lynch! It definitely is a challenge that I will have to work at to overcome. And your definitely right about me looking young too! I asked a girl out the other day and she said she doesn't date 14 years olds! 😂🤦♂️🤷

Congrats on all your success! Great year end review! Our gross revenue was incredible for 2019. Unfortunately, we worked like a dog to get it . This year if we can make the same $$$$$$ without killing ourselves that would be great. This year I wanna increase prices where needed ,increase route density and work on paying off our mowers. If 2020 goes well for us ,I also want to purchase a new Isuzu NPR truck with a flatbed setup for the business.
That sounds like some awesome goals! And I hear you there about killing yourselves this last season haha! But an Isuzu would be crazy helpful in future growth!😎👍
was looking forward to seeing your business review for 2019. Congrats and much respect to you! Your becoming a good business operator - the bottom line of a business is net profits. When the time is right the right people will come about. Same happened to me this year - the right person came about at the right time and surpassed my goal by $35,000. Kept expenses at a minimum, made good investments back into the business for efficiency, and provided good value to clients.

Hey buddy pittsburgh here, a good year and time to enjoy before it starts again. How often you use your time masters . Was wondering that verse the exmark 30
Hey there fellow PA broski!😁👍 I use my timemasters all the Time. I generally have a handful of breakdowns a year because of the hours I put on them. The transmission being one of them however it's relatively cheap to replace at $75. Transmission usually gets replaced once every year or two. In the exmark mowers it's even more often because the mower itself is heavier. The exmark doesn't work as well on hills also because of how heavy it is. But realistically they both are pretty much the same machine at its core.
Thanks bud 😁👍 when I started I only used flyers. But then again I was only 12 years old. 🤣🤦♂️ Now I use a whole bunch of different ways of advertising. I definitely recommend making a free Google my business account. You get a lot of views for your business that way. And it's free!
My goal is to eventually have all employees run my business. I tell my self as long as I have to do all the work then I dont own a business I own a job. I'm self employed. So my goal is to find and cultivate great employees pay them well. Then be less hands on I'll keep working bc I enjoy but when the business is employee ran then it's a business when I can step back and reclaim my time. For other aspects. Goals Goals Goals. Great that you have them. I mentored kids and I drill Sargent goals into their you minds they were only in 4th grade but I thought them mantras "No dream comes true unless you wake up and get to work" A goal with out a plan is a what? They yell dream?
Young man good job and you have the drive. Pick your workers and stand by your the boss and that's it. If you can make your goals as a solo owner do it less drama I did in the mower repair shop down size and cut out push mowers and chainsaws. It help 100 precent but I got sick had to retire from repair got a regular job hate it but I have medical. Stay strong and don't let a new employee run over you.
I'm sorry to hear that sir! Unfortunately I needed to stay solo for the time being. But it won't be sustainable for the long term. if I were to get injured or something I could potentially lose my business by not having some employees to cover for me. So unfortunately I need a backup. It's going to take a little longer than I had first thought
Thanks bud! I do believe it will. If the Season goes well enough, I have another guy from my winter job that really would rather work outside with me so we'll see 🤷😁👍
Definitely will continue to try and get more landscape work. I did about 8x more landscape work this season than last year. So I consider that a great start 😎🙌 hardscaping isn't big here because people can't afford it. So honestly no point in learning for the one call I'd get for it once every few years haha
Wyatt, I'm so happy for you Bud!! Happy to hear your brother might or is coming back. Having a dependable family member to rely on is priceless. @@wyattslawnservice7212 I can imagine the uneasiness you might feel with older employees. First of, if they have an attitude early on, just consider that as a gift. You'll know quickly that you can't use that person. Don't feel intimidated if an employee doesn't seem to want to follow instructions. You are a good man with an excellent candor. You are also a business owner. And you clearly put your business even before yourself for success. The same should be true with your employees. While we do we do care about people, And there is a life outside of work, There are also some simple guidelines that must be followed. Good & dependable employees will come in time. As kind as you are, You clearly care about people and those that work for you. However, you can let someone go just as kindly as you hired them. Unfortunately, I know that by the time I start hiring employees, Firing employees will be a necessary tasks as well. That's just the nature of Lawn Care..., clearly. Clemens made a good point. We need to get better at choosing who we hire. And not be so quick to hire without some guidelines to follow. You're going far brother. And I'll be following you as long as your posting. Thanks again for all you do friend 👍

That’s some great new man. Hoping to get my lawn business going this year. How did you go about getting customers when you first started?
Thanks bud 😁👍 when I started I only used flyers. But then again I was only 12 years old. 🤣🤦♂️ Now I use a whole bunch of different ways of advertising. I definitely recommend making a free Google my business account. You get a lot of views for your business that way. And it's free!
Tomorrow I start my first day as a landscaper. Any tips? Love the channel already!
That's awesome man! Hope you like it! Are you working for yourself or as a crew member?
As a crew member!
Great video, Thank you for sharing
Appreciate you taking the time to watch bud 😁👊
My goal is to eventually have all employees run my business.
I tell my self as long as I have to do all the work then I dont own a business I own a job. I'm self employed. So my goal is to find and cultivate great employees pay them well. Then be less hands on I'll keep working bc I enjoy but when the business is employee ran then it's a business when I can step back and reclaim my time. For other aspects. Goals Goals Goals.
Great that you have them. I mentored kids and I drill Sargent goals into their you minds they were only in 4th grade but I thought them mantras
"No dream comes true unless you wake up and get to work"
A goal with out a plan is a what? They yell dream?
Do you have a video on your new enclosed trailer and your setup?
Yessir! Look up Wyatt's Lawn service 2019 lawn care setup :) at the end I show how everything fits in the trailer 👌
Hey, employees are just hard to deal with unless you find that one guy you can count on and that's hard!
This is true! I don't think it will ever be easy!🤣🤦♂️
You’re doing a great job. Lord willing, you have a lot of time ahead of you to do great things! I’m almost at 50 subscribers 🤣
51 now bud :)
@@wyattslawnservice7212 thanks bro!
Good job keep it going bro quick question if you don’t mind me asking how many accounts do you currently have ?
About 60 when I ended the season. With my brother I'm hoping for 80+ next season 🙌
It will be nice to see Dalton come back. Hope it works out.
Thanks bud! I do believe it will. If the Season goes well enough, I have another guy from my winter job that really would rather work outside with me so we'll see 🤷😁👍
Any plans in landscaping or hardscaping area for the 2020 season?
Definitely will continue to try and get more landscape work. I did about 8x more landscape work this season than last year. So I consider that a great start 😎🙌 hardscaping isn't big here because people can't afford it. So honestly no point in learning for the one call I'd get for it once every few years haha
@@wyattslawnservice7212 nice. When you get a landscaping lead can you make a vid on them
@@kobeslaton9675 what do you mean in particular? Like how to sell the work to the client?
You got a really good deal on that trailer
It was a good price! And it worked out well with being able to get it :)
I wanna buy a F150 just to have a nice daily driver
I did good this in 2019
my only goals was to purchase a dump trailer but it didn't happen. maybe this year
For how much mulch you do, it would be a huge help and definitely a great goal my Friend!🙌
Wyatt, I'm so happy for you Bud!! Happy to hear your brother might or is coming back. Having a dependable family member to rely on is priceless. All your goals sound realistic which makes them very obtainable & thus leading to more motivation in reaching them. Hoping 2020 is gonna be a FANTASTIC year for Wyatt's Mowing!! Saty well my friend, Dirty Jersey out!!!And... remember most importantly if your Bro., comes back you can 1099 him to save you money on your taxes instead of wasting money on a W2!! jk,jk,jk, where do I come up wit dem?? I freakin kill myself man!!
He said he's definitely coming back woot woot!🙌 I have another guy who I know that is the hardest working young guy I know. He's interested too! So I think it Should work out either way 😎👍 and I'll probably be paying him cash haha. You kill me!🤣🤦♂️

I can imagine the uneasiness you might feel with older employees.
While we do we do care about people,
And there is a life outside of work,
There are also some simple guidelines that must be followed.
Good & dependable employees will come in time.
As kind as you are,
You clearly care about people and those that work for you.
However, you can let someone go just as kindly as you hired them.
Unfortunately, I know that by the time I start hiring employees,
Firing employees will be a necessary tasks as well.
That's just the nature of
Lawn Care..., clearly.
Clemens made a good point.
We need to get better at choosing who we hire.
And not be so quick to hire without some guidelines to follow.
You're going far brother.
And I'll be following you as long as your posting.
Thanks again for all you do friend 👍
I have big goals for 2020
That's awesome man! I sure hope you reach them! If you give it 110%, I have no doubt that you can pass, or even beat them!😁👊
Hey man just wondering how much does it cost to get all 3 sides of a enclosed trailer wraped?
Whole bunch of different prices depending on what you want done and where you go 😁 I'd give them an idea of what you want and have them send you a quote
did you get the trailer decaled?
Looks like a thumbnail edit
Rick is 100% correct with this one haha! I will next spring. But this is just to get the business name on the thumbnail :)
i think you hit all of the goals eventually just not right away
dafaq who doesn't want to work for you, hire me my guy.
Haha anytime bud!🙌
Salute
