[EWL Partial Suspension] SMRT KSF C151B - 689/690: Tanah Merah → Paya Lebar

East-West Line (EWL) MRT services were partially suspended from 7 Dec 2024 till 10 Dec 2024 to facilitate track works connecting the EWL to the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID).
As a result, Simei MRT station was closed and train services were segmented, with all eastbound trains terminating at Tanah Merah station for the suspension period. Two shuttle trains operated along the section between Pasir Ris and Tampines stations.
The works also impacted airport train services and as a result, the airport branch line was also segmented into two shuttle services, one operating between Tanah Merah and Expo, and the other shuttle operated between Expo and Changi Airport stations.
Shuttle 7 shuttle buses were activated to provide connections to and from Tanah Merah and Tampines stations.
On 9 Dec 2024, the Land Transport Authority announced that full services on the EWL will resume on 10 Dec 2024, as works have been completed successfully.
