There shutting down states from our side we told the border is close. I wanted to visit my son . If you go home while they are doing your paper work they will not let you back in. Unless it change . You have to show you want to live there ..They will let you cross no problem but coming back in may be a issue . Least it was that way when I applied . They will pull you in at customs ask you your intention .

Thanks for answering the period question. That was a legitimate thing most of us women wondered about. I assumed you used a cup type product for less waste, ect, but couldn't imagine it without a sink. Your solution was so simple. I can use that for camping! And I had no idea the period underwear came in shorts too, I'll have to look that up. So, though that was a very personal topic, we Ladies appreciate the information.

I love your style. 💕 I never heard of a menstrual cup. It sounds quite messy & gross. I don't have a cycle anymore. Had a full hysterectomy when I was 47 so I am happy to do without it. But have kids when you feel it's right. But have them especially if you love children. My biggest regret is I never gave my parents grandchildren. My fiance broke my engagement & I would never bring children into the world without a father to help raise them. Kids deserve both loving parents I'm their lives. You & Jake would be amazing parents. And I'm so happy to hear how close you are with family, especially mom. Tomorrow, Oct. 25th is my mom's 8 year anniversary of her passing. I still cry for her. Did you know just the nice sound effects from you and Jake's cooking and tea making is very soothing. ASMR Some of the most relaxing video I love watching are when people cook out doors. All the chopping and sizzles from the cooking sounds so nice with a good mic.
New to your channels. See that you do a lot of canning and dehydrating. Was wondering if you have any plans to do ferments? Also, do you have a root cellar or something like that? Btw, don't know if you would need it in that area. We have visited Vancouver Island some years back and from what I remember, it was fairly cool in the Summer, but just throwing it out there in case there might be any interest. You can build a no electricity A/C unit (or refrigerator) using a combination of 50/50 methanol and water in one container (preferably metal) inside, then in a glass container outside, have a combination of activated charcoal and 3a Zeolite (and adsorbent material). Connect the two containers and insulate the connection. Then draw a soft to medium vacuum on the system. The inside container will become cold as the methanol and water phase changes from liquid to gas and gets attracted to the outside container. Then you use a Solar oven or concentrator, or wood fire when it's rainy on the outside glass container (best to use borasilicate glass) to separate the methanol and water from the adsorbents so that it begins the cycle again. It's not near as efficient at cooling as a modern compressor/modern refrigerant type AC that is common in most homes BUT it requires no electricity. (Unfortunately, it also doesn't remove humidity from the air, which is a benefit of common AC). And you could probably even use a brake hand vacuum pump to pull the vacuum on the system. And you can make a smaller version for a refrigerator if you put the inside container in some insulation. Kapok fiber is an amazing, cheap, renewable insulation material (only downside that is is highly flammable, but I would line the outside with baking soda soaked wool fabric to cut down on any potential ignition potential).

Nichole this is my own perspective and I do speak for myself, I'm 58 years old. My beliefs are when a man brings a woman to his country he brings her as his wife, (not girl friend) because he is taking her away from her family. I feel that if Jake really loves you after being together for 3 years he would have married you before you guys moved to Canada. This would have elimited a lot of paperwork for you. Jake may be a great guy but a real man who loves his woman would do the right thing to make it easier for the one he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with. Here is an example My own life since January 2012. I met my wife at a shelter when we both were homeless, I helped her get back on her feet at the same time I did for myself. When I became employed I asked her out to dinner, we started dating and then living in together, a year and a half later we were married. Because I wanted her to be with me forever and she felt the same. we have been together now for 8 1/2 years and married for 7 years my wife will be 38 in December. Remember this is my perspective and speaking for myself the way I was brought up as a child to manhood (respect your woman, love her, and do the right thing, because a woman is equal to her man in a committed relationship).

People have ruined the real concept of what a real marriage is. Now people today sleep together before marriage and have children. In homestead life marriage was not always possible. But in this day an age love is more important than a certificate. What they do is exactly what there lifestyle in tails? I know 3 couples dead from murder suicide by living off Grid in South Carolina , they lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains . They lost it and died by gunshot , 3 different families in only 4 years near Greenville SC .

Outside of UA-cam, are you guys making money? What advice do you give to those who want to follow your footsteps toward off grid holistic living? Knowing that you plan to have kids, what will that look like for you guys? Would you bring them back to town or homeschool? Raise them vegan or allow them the choice? Yeah, I would miss going out too. I would miss dining out and going to the movies. Also, I would REALLY miss having fast, gigabit internet access for my computer graphics workstation and enough power for a large, big-screen TV and powerful multi-channel audio system with which to watch movies on. I'm sure that can be easily achieved. :-)

We will be watching for a wedding. It does not take a paper to make you two married, some say when you get that paper the relationship goes sour. But it’s best for legal reasons to get married, such as to much can be taken away from the spouse living. Make sure such things as vehicles, house, large ticket items are in both names, it is hell to have to pay court fees to stake claim even when you are married has to be in both of your names. Otherwise if one of you dies and family steps in as next of kin it will be an onward battle. Your let’s say she is your wife can not survive without you in the forest so please fix it where if she stays she is safe, but in my heart I don’t think she would stay unless a brother came to stay with her.
Hi Nicole love your videos, I’m a female over the road truck driver and I use a lawn and garden pump sprayer to wash my hands in the truck. I fill it with water and I can conveniently wash my hands in my vehicle😊. You can also remove the long nozzle too.
I did yoga for 3 days straight while shooting crystal meth. I was so flexible I literally tied myself in a knot. Lol. I can never do the same poses now that I did on those 3 days. Worst part of it was that I lost control of my bowels and was covered in my own feces for a day and a half. Sorry that sounds bad but it truly was the best experience I ever had finding piece with my inner shelf. Thank you for your never bending inspliration. One day I hope we can meat. New to your channels. See that you do a lot of canning and dehydrating. Was wondering if you have any plans to do ferments? Also, do you have a root cellar or something like that?
Btw, don't know if you would need it in that area. We have visited Vancouver Island some years back and from what I remember, it was fairly cool in the Summer, but just throwing it out there in case there might be any interest. You can build a no electricity A/C unit (or refrigerator) using a combination of 50/50 methanol and water in one container (preferably metal) inside, then in a glass container outside, have a combination of activated charcoal and 3a Zeolite (and adsorbent material). Connect the two containers and insulate the connection. Then draw a soft to medium vacuum on the system.
The inside container will become cold as the methanol and water phase changes from liquid to gas and gets attracted to the outside container. Then you use a Solar oven or concentrator, or wood fire when it's rainy on the outside glass container (best to use borasilicate glass) to separate the methanol and water from the adsorbents so that it begins the cycle again.
It's not near as efficient at cooling as a modern compressor/modern refrigerant type AC that is common in most homes BUT it requires no electricity. (Unfortunately, it also doesn't remove humidity from the air, which is a benefit of common AC). And you could probably even use a brake hand vacuum pump to pull the vacuum on the system. And you can make a smaller version for a refrigerator if you put the inside container in some insulation. Kapok fiber is an amazing, cheap, renewable insulation material (only downside that is is highly flammable, but I would line the outside with baking soda soaked wool fabric to cut down on any potential ignition potential).
Children are such a blessing. I lost my son ( my only child ) this past July. He would have been 36 December 7th. It's definitely going to be a different Christmas for sure this year. Love you both. God Bless and have a Very Merry Christmas.

I guess that their children wouldn't be that proud if other kids of their classes would tell them that they're found nudes and porn stuff from them on the internet. Nichole this is my own perspective and I do speak for myself, I'm 58 years old. My beliefs are when a man brings a woman to his country he brings her as his wife, (not girl friend) because he is taking her away from her family. I feel that if Jake really loves you after being together for 3 years he would have married you before you guys moved to Canada. This would have elimited a lot of paperwork for you. Jake may be a great guy but a real man who loves his woman would do the right thing to make it easier for the one he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with. Here is an example My own life since January 2012. I met my wife at a shelter when we both were homeless, I helped her get back on her feet at the same time I did for myself. When I became employed I asked her out to dinner, we started dating and then living in together, a year and a half later we were married. Because I wanted her to be with me forever and she felt the same. we have been together now for 8 1/2 years and married for 7 years my wife will be 38 in December. Remember this is my perspective and speaking for myself the way I was brought up as a child to manhood (respect your woman, love her, and do the right thing, because a woman is equal to her man in a committed relationship).
@Truck Sled Rider yes marriage is a choice but if you was raised up as I was, A man marrys a woman before taking her away from her family and start his own family. People have ruined the real concept of what a real marriage is. Now people today sleep together before marriage and have children. If you read the bible you will not find anything that says it's ok to lay with the opposite sex before marriage or conceive children before marriage.
In homestead life marriage was not always possible. But in this day an age love is more important than a certificate. What they do is exactly what there lifestyle in tails? What matters most is that they started out together. Today marriage is a certified contract. The land they work together has them already married. And they shared that marriage with us, their fans

My wife and I paid for the farm tour and the farmer (can’t remember his name right now) spent so much time sharing their story. It’s very cool.

I know 3 couples dead from murder suicide by living off Grid in South Carolina , they lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains . They lost it and died by gunshot , 3 different families in only 4 years near Greenville SC .
Ok.... so I just discovered your videos today, and your life project is admirable, and on camera you seem very graceful and full of harmony.... however do not say you are living off grid because all these monitized posted videos on UA-cam are the epidemity of being "on grid". Yeah, I would miss going out too. I would miss dining out and going to the movies. Also, I would REALLY miss having fast, gigabit internet access for my computer graphics workstation and enough power for a large, big-screen TV and powerful multi-channel audio system with which to watch movies on. I'm sure that can be easily achieved. :-)

We will be watching for a wedding. It does not take a paper to make you two married, some say when you get that paper the relationship goes sour. But it’s best for legal reasons to get married, such as to much can be taken away from the spouse living. Make sure such things as vehicles, house, large ticket items are in both names, it is hell to have to pay court fees to stake claim even when you are married has to be in both of your names. Otherwise if one of you dies and family steps in as next of kin it will be an onward battle. Your let’s say she is your wife can not survive without you in the forest so please fix it where if she stays she is safe, but in my heart I don’t think she would stay unless a brother came to stay with her.
Hi Nicole love your videos, I’m a female over the road truck driver and I use a lawn and garden pump sprayer to wash my hands in the truck. I fill it with water and I can conveniently wash my hands in my vehicle😊. You can also remove the long nozzle too.

I did yoga for 3 days straight while shooting crystal meth. I was so flexible I literally tied myself in a knot. Lol. I can never do the same poses now that I did on those 3 days. Worst part of it was that I lost control of my bowels and was covered in my own feces for a day and a half. Sorry that sounds bad but it truly was the best experience I ever had finding piece with my inner shelf. Thank you for your never bending inspliration. One day I hope we can meat. If I was a female, I'd totally use the menstrual cup as well. In fact, I thought menstrual cups were such a great idea I went and purchased some for my wife last year and she thinks they are amazing now too lol.
