I know. I am fully aware that there was no skill by me in this at all. Haha I got lucky for sure but the opportunity and the experience were incredible in general. I know other contestants didnt get the same experience I did obviously but you never know when you go.

If you've watched FaZe Rug's video on it he was talking about how if he didn't go up and make that shot he would've had to live regretting that moment. That's probably what encouraged him to go up. @@ItsNolanz I did watch Rugs video. And I think both him and Jesser felt the same. Jesser probably even more so because hes a complete basketball icon. But they both are competitive lifelong hoopers, they HAVE to take the shot. If they dont then its gonna feel like they dont believe in their own skillset and thats not a good thing to feel as an athlete. I have so much respect for them both tbh. Rug went up there with a clean bankshot and Jesser's bounced around a bit but these guys have ice in their veins so it worked out.

Highly doubt it. I've tried applying for jobs for over a year and never heard anything back. I just got lucky this time. I will keep trying to apply to be in videos when they post things on socials. It already has. Taken a huge load off my plate mentally as well. I didnt have really any money in the bank and was stressing about the student debt and future. Now I can be a bit more free to be creative and take risks to improve my future. Thats the definition of life changing!

I plan on doing a vlog about it. I have an appointment on the 6th but I wouldnt be able to get surgery until after September due to traveling. I will keep people updated on how things are going. ICL surgery using the Evo lens is what you need to ask your doctor about. But it depends on a lot of factors. My eyes are bad but they are equally bad, and have barely any astigmatism (so in some ways im pretty lucky). You gotta check with them what you need.

Thank you. I appreciate comments like these the most. What are some tics you have? But yeah i have to battle being insecure about it especially in big group settings. Its something we gotta live with and still try to be daring. We dont want to limit our potential because we are not normal right? Ive talked with my wife about it (who helps edit), and we are gonna leave in more tics in videos in an attempt to start more conversations around it..
@@peteresaltare Thank you so much for responding. For one of my tics, I make a very similar sound like what you did as well as, legs, arms and neck moving. There might be more but it sometimes just depends. I felt the same about it on camera ever since I started my youtube channel although I haven’t included myself in recent videos. But I do feel very shy being in large environments such as school. It’s very difficult for me in school but thats something I have to overcome and not worry about what they think. I like that you are going to include your tics in more videos and I’m looking forward to seeing the videos. :)

I have tons as well. My fingers tense up sometimes, my wrists bend, my face contorts, on rare occasions I have an attack that I shake pretty violently and lose control of my appendages. 70% of people with TS have ADHD, and almost all TS people have OCD and other conditions. I have this weird thing where I can get stuck doing the same thing over and over again (like rubbing my face on my shoulder). I also have a tendency to use my sense of smell more than most which is definitely related to the overall condition. So I definitely simplified TS for the video, but I can relate to you for sure on the variety.
Like I said i've only met a few people. I believe the disease is something like 1 in 5000 or something. Like Shiny Pokémon odds! lol

I got diagnosed at 12 (which is late I was told) and things were really tough in school. Thankfully nowadays people know a bit more about Tourettes but back then I was bullied a lot for it. So I can relate to how you feel. It shatters confidence having to go through that when you cant do anything about your condition. Although my confidence and tolerance for people is much higher nowadays I still struggle in quiet spaces, and crowds. You are not alone my friend. I dont know if it will get better for you or not but at least for me my tics got less noticeable over time as I got better at relaxing and keeping myself away from triggers.

Ive met other contestants from endurance challenges and they mentioned those conditions were tough (mostly because thats the point of those "last person standing" type videos). So really it depends on the video. In the 50 influencer video they took care of my every need. It was great.
