But yes, both of those things can dramatically affect the installation difficulty. Our biggest problem where we test is a layer of clay starting around 40" deep and these anchors do not go down to that level. Ground conditions are always the most influential factor in the installation of anchors. They dictates the type and size of the anchor to choose as well as its installation difficulty.
