This is what started my love for history I was sitting in 1st grade and learned about the Alamo and since then I've always loved history. The Alamo will forever be my most favorite and cherished historical thing I've ever learned
My 4th great grandfather, (I don’t know his name.) fought at the battle of San Jacinto. He was a Texan. His brother, (I don’t know his name aswell.) fought at the battle of Coleto creek, he was executed at the Goliad massacre. Being one of the 400 killed. I think he was an Irishman.
Crockett didn't die in the Alamo, he disappeared. The reason I say this is because the man that identified bowie and travis couldn't find Crocketts body.
They burned Crockett in the pyres as they did most of the dead. For keeripes sake man, Crockett did not disappear! He conveniently ran like a coward only to be captured and executed and later burned at the pyres set up by Santa Ana's army. Damn Legohistory, do some studying and then come on this forum. It only requires you to tell the truth.
What stupid dictators are those? More than half of the Alamo garrison (the Texians) sought to escape the battle, only to be killed by Gen. Sesma's lancers. At least 125 Texians sought to flee the battle.
Pure Texan??? HA! HA! LMAO! Ask an Indian or Mexican about that claim, you funny old fart! Your a late comer and you all know it! Ok, I have to go, now go back to your bed and take a nap, you need one!

On my father's side, we are related to the Esparza brothers. One fought inside the Alamo, the other was a Mexican soldier fighting outside.
My two great, great uncles, Asa and Jacob Walker from Tennessee, were killed there too. I am also 5th generation.
And I reside in San Antonio.
Awesome video, Charles Lara.
Great job, thanks so much
