I love the hyper realism of the missions and training, but the “hardo” talk and ridiculing by the chain of command is kinda wild for a video game. I get that it’s a serious group, but are the my role playing being some “pipe-hitter hard nose” or are they legitimately believing they are justified in the non-productive way they talk to y’all? When you speak up, it’s nothing but professional. But, man, some of these 16 year old sounding “leaders” really wanna act the part of “SMU Assualter” and it makes me cringe. Still gonna watch for you and the performance of the team, just always weird to me. If it were an actual shoot house, I get it. It’s not though, and sometimes these “leaders” are chewing guys out over camo infractions instead of talking to them like a normal rational human.
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate the view that this is a video game and should not be approached the same way as we do things in real life. I personally believe that any endeavor that is worth the time of so many people should be based on what those folks want. In Spectre, they want things to be as close to a simulation that they can make it, yet have fun. Its a difficult balance to achieve for sure. One of our core tenants is the desire to improve, and your feedback is welcome, and is being considered. Having "serious fun" is not easy to implement and depends a lot on the people playing and how much realism is to their taste. Personally I agree that we can be more polite, and I usually strive to do that. That part of the feedback is seriously being considered. Changes are coming soon that should implement some positive changes. And again, thank you for the feedback. Cheers.
A valid response, looking forward to y’all’s next mission/stream. Hopefully, with less cringe “I swear I’ll hit you with my buttstock if you don’t get away from the table” moments hahaha keep pushing out the content it’s very cool to watch.
