I think it's a bit of a myth that NA is so different to EU especially at the mid levels, perhaps it is at the highest levels, but having played in both at diamond level, my MMR settled in the same place on NA as it did on EU, and the playstyles were very similar.
I really think they arent paying attention to the speed of control this season. In the cannonrush game you can see its high level by how quickly he stacks and shift deselects probes into gas, pulls probes quickly away from firing cannons, made some cool tactical choices (moving across to kill opponents base). Also the cannonrush was okayish, he tried to wall off the cannons, was quick with the mineral walk reaction going up the ramp. And followed up by habing an actual response to defend the cannons.
Yea, I would have bet a years salary game 2 was at least diamond. I think they got stuck on the fact that the attacker built Phoenix as a followup, and didn't consider how well executed everything was even if the theory wasn't perfect.
In the cannon rush game, they should've looked at the macro behind the solid Void Ray / Phoenix micro. At lower levels, players often end up floating a lot because they're focused on not making any mistakes with their units and don't look away to build / train.

While APM is not a 1-to-1 indication of level, I don't think you're going to see many platinum/low diamond players with that level of speed.
Its a shame lowko is in the top %1 of players and not top %0.1 of players because the content of you two playing 2v2s would be excellent. (No shade to lowko this is a joke lowko is like 1000x better than i will ever be)
Yeah my macro is shit, but held strong in mid D2/low D1 for the last couple years. If I could sort out macro I'm sure I would stick in D1 or low masters, plus would let me keep more standard army comp. Usually end up with some random units thrown in just to try and spend some cash.

I think the disrespect to the NA servers is blown out of proportion. I would argue that, aside for the very top level (pros), a diamond 3 is a diamond 3 no matter what server. You should set up a tournament so we can stop getting harassed by foreign streamers.

I'm pretty sure that stacking with air units means grouping them together really close to each other wich makes it much easier to control
