I have a feeling Jev is hooked based on the ending... here's hoping bloodborne dug its teeth deep into his skin so we can get a full series, sick game, Jev, if you keep going it only gets better
Some tips for Jev: 1. Skill is much better to upgrade than strength 2. An armor set better than the one you were looking at can be found super soon from where you are 3. You can make some insane combos by switching which way you're using your weapon in between attacks

Bloodborne is such a sick game.. I love that it incentivizes aggressive gameplay since I'm more of a defensive player. The lore and music in this game are awesome too. Man, I'm watching the heck out of this series.
Please keep playing! Big FYI, as your insight (the eyeball counter at the top right) gets higher, the harder the game gets. Insight lowers your Beasthood, which reduces your physical damage. It also makes it so certain enemies gain different abilities at around 15. You'll be able to see the crazy monsters hanging out all over town too at higher levels (like 40 i think). There are some sets of gear that increase your beasthood like the Ashen gear. If you have high insight and you're getting your ass beat, go to hunters dream and go to the little messenger shop above the one you've seen. You can spend insight there to get a few things and, of course, ultimately bring your damage back up. 1-15 insight isn't too bad so long as you're leveling and upgrading your gear, but you'll start to feel it after that I think
im really glad you're Finally gettin to Bloodborne! one of the best imo. Well here's some tips: - A Charged R2 from behind will Stagger most enemies - Learning to Counter is Crucial, as you've already been practicing, learning to do so will REALLY help against difficult enemies - Blood Vials scale the higher your level, so don't worry about finding upgrades - Your Repose damage scales off your Skill, and there are Gems and Runes that boost it even further - The Oil Urn/Molly combo you did is very good against beasts. - Probably one of the biggest, you can do L1 and R1 combos with all weapons. my favorite with the Saw Cleaver is R1, R1, L1, L1. JEV ON BLOODBORNE LETS GO! P.S. The Saw Cleaver you get at the beginning of the game is like one of the best weapons in the game throughout the whole game (Although there are certain bosses you will want to use specific weapons for because they are strong against them). So good choice on the saw cleaver. In terms of what to upgrade for the saw cleaver, STR and SKL. STR is more for the extended saw cleaver and heavy attacks. SKL is more for the hack and slashing. There's a soft cap for most traits specifically STR and SKL at 25, so getting those both there is a good starting point besides Vitality. (Like so JEV sees this guys to help him out)
Bloodborne is personally my all time favorite game of all time soooooo if you turn this into a series then heres some tips Your gun is your parry toll and when you learn the party windows its actually easier to party then ds and er Fire papir and beastblood pellets are key to boss fights Hope you turn it into a series And remember a hunter must hunt
Even if you only make 1 video on Bloodborne, it's good enough for me. Thank you for making at least 1 video of Bloodborne, Faze Jev. I've never played it but I'm excited to see you play it
I have been watching jev for literally 11 years giver or take and I have never been this excited to start one of his videos this better become a series
To awnser your question Jev, it's harder to tell what a weapon scales with by looking at it in this game but there is a big ass sword and strength builds are pretty viable Also to explain blood tinge for you, it's basically poise break build up with your gun as attribute Finally beasts are weak to fire (That's all I'll share for now, if this many tips aren't evidence enough then yeah I'd love to see this as a whole series)
@@sz-nurek If you think this is back seating then you don't know what back seating is buddy I'm not telling him how to play nor am I saying he has to play a certain way that's what back seating is I awnsered a question he asked in the video and explained something about the game that's not in any other fromsoftware game
@@sz-nurek the game never tells you what blood tinge is, it's a fromsoft game it doesn't tell you jack shit about it's mechanics so I think explaining bloodtinge is fair Not like I'm explaining where to find a item or how to beat a boss
@@SleepyKurisu I would still consider it backseating. Especially if the game has a special button (R3, labeled Help) that brings up an explanation of every stat, bloodthinge included.
There is a good outfit you find exploring the first area near the cleric beast, it’s the the classic hunter set, there is no need to buy the fit on the store yet
I always comeback playing bloodborne every now and then. I love this game so much. My first play through i quit half way but returned months later it felt so good beating it. Then i learned the lore and wow
Here are some secret mechanics and tips the game doesn't tell you about, don't read if you don't want to be backseated: - Some weapons, like the saw cleaver, deal serrated damage, which can break the individual limbs of large beasts. Breaking limbs deals a chuck of damage, similar to bleed from elden ring, and will eventually cause it to stagger. - There are three main damage types, thrust, blunt, and physical. Some bosses are weaker to some and stronger to others. All weapons have a normal and trick form (changed by pressing L1), and this will occasionally change the damage type. - Beasts (the wolf-like things) are weak to fire - Kin (almost anything that isn't a beast) are weak to shock/electric damage - A fully charged attack to the back of almost any enemy will stagger it, allowing you to land a visceral attack. - Parries from your gun will work on all humanoid bosses. - By locking on your roll will turn into a quick dash, this is useful for playing aggressive, but if you want to use your regular roll to avoid large projectiles/run away, you can just turn off the lock-on. - Visceral attacks scale with skill, and do less damage than a regular charged attack if you're doing a strength build. - When staggered, enemies take ~50% more damage from attacks - You can only hold 20 blood vials and bullets at a time without upgrades - You can use transform attacks by pressing R1, L1. This will transform your weapon mid-attack, allowing for a combo. This is especially useful with the saw cleaver, as it builds beasthood. - Beasthood is important if you plan to use beastblood pellets, which are an item you'll find later. You don't have to apply anything here, but the game is hard, so it might help. idk, just have fun with it
Please be a series

5:21 Jev says you can backseat, but we probably won't read it.
This is so fun to watch. Please make this a series Jev!
The Old Hunters DLC is essential to the Bloodborne experience.
Bloodborne is personally my all time favorite game of all time soooooo if you turn this into a series then heres some tips
Your gun is your parry toll and when you learn the party windows its actually easier to party then ds and er
Fire papir and beastblood pellets are key to boss fights
Hope you turn it into a series
And remember a hunter must hunt
5:21 Jev says you can backseat, but we probably won't read it.
Even if you only make 1 video on Bloodborne, it's good enough for me. Thank you for making at least 1 video of Bloodborne, Faze Jev. I've never played it but I'm excited to see you play it
Play it man
@@jei3970 Is it on PS5?
@@OgSudayes but it’s still capped at 30FPS which is a dealbreaker to some
if this isn’t a series I’m going to be so sad. I haven’t cared for CoD since bo3 so I need more non-cod jev series
FAVOURITE UA-camR FAVOURITE GAME LETS GOOOO🎉🎉🎉
i swear to god i searched for jev bloodborne on youtube earlier today and all of a sudden he uploads this
Was waiting for this one🔥🔥🔥
I have been watching jev for literally 11 years giver or take and I have never been this excited to start one of his videos this better become a series
we needed this
A hunter must hunt jev for the love of God I ask you play this entire game and the dlc please it's amazing
FINALLY! PLEASE DO MORE!
I need this as a series jev. I gotta see the reaction to when you get more insight and it turns to eldrich horror
To awnser your question Jev, it's harder to tell what a weapon scales with by looking at it in this game but there is a big ass sword and strength builds are pretty viable
Also to explain blood tinge for you, it's basically poise break build up with your gun as attribute
Finally beasts are weak to fire
(That's all I'll share for now, if this many tips aren't evidence enough then yeah I'd love to see this as a whole series)
5:21 Jev says you can backseat, but we probably won't read it.
@@sz-nurek If you think this is back seating then you don't know what back seating is buddy
I'm not telling him how to play nor am I saying he has to play a certain way that's what back seating is
I awnsered a question he asked in the video and explained something about the game that's not in any other fromsoftware game
@@SleepyKurisu Yes. I would consider thorughly explaining game mechanics that the game itself hasn't explained backseating.
@@sz-nurek the game never tells you what blood tinge is, it's a fromsoft game it doesn't tell you jack shit about it's mechanics so I think explaining bloodtinge is fair
Not like I'm explaining where to find a item or how to beat a boss
@@SleepyKurisu I would still consider it backseating. Especially if the game has a special button (R3, labeled Help) that brings up an explanation of every stat, bloodthinge included.
There is a good outfit you find exploring the first area near the cleric beast, it’s the the classic hunter set, there is no need to buy the fit on the store yet
5:21 Jev says you can backseat, but we probably won't read it.
I think you should do a bloodtinge build. Bloodborne is one of the few games that gets blood magic right. Make this a series jev!
5:21 Jev says you can backseat, but we probably won't read it.
I always comeback playing bloodborne every now and then. I love this game so much. My first play through i quit half way but returned months later it felt so good beating it. Then i learned the lore and wow
vid came out 5 min ago and people are already asking for a series, dats when u know the game is good
Love the jev just staring at the screen knowing his torture is imminent 😂😂
Here are some secret mechanics and tips the game doesn't tell you about, don't read if you don't want to be backseated:
- Some weapons, like the saw cleaver, deal serrated damage, which can break the individual limbs of large beasts.
- Beasts (the wolf-like things) are weak to fire
- Kin (almost anything that isn't a beast) are weak to shock/electric damage
- A fully charged attack to the back of almost any enemy will stagger it, allowing you to land a visceral attack.
- When staggered, enemies take ~50% more damage from attacks
- You can only hold 20 blood vials and bullets at a time without upgrades
- You can use transform attacks by pressing R1, L1. This will transform your weapon mid-attack, allowing for a combo. This is especially useful with the saw cleaver, as it builds beasthood.
- Beasthood is important if you plan to use beastblood pellets, which are an item you'll find later.
You don't have to apply anything here, but the game is hard, so it might help. idk, just have fun with it
Take your time to explore because there’s optional boss’s, weapons, and quests. Would love to see you play more bloodborne ❤
