- The first part is the afternoon of November 26th, 1989. The tower interior scenes (including a very rare look at the short-lived CTC panel that controlled the Conrail Indianapolis Line from Galion to Bellefontaine) were taken on Sunday, December 10th, 1989. The operator was Paul Geiger, who was working his final ever shift on the Columbus extra board.
These videos are priceless.
This is the earliest video I've seen of the post-EL era Marion railroads. Great sequence in AC! I never knew Conrail had a CTC board in there!
It was only there for two or three years.

My dad used to take me to Marion Ohio when I was a young railfan back in the 70s and I made trips on my own after I started driving. Miss coming down here.

Trains make traffic in this town. Very difficult. Now trains are the last thing to worry about in this town.
