NIL (Name Image and Likeness) is a new and interesting dynamic. Over the Thanksgiving week, there was a tournament in Vegas with I think 8 teams, and the teams were offered money for their NIL accounts- if that is the right word. If BYU does not have a lot of name recognition with their players, then this kid can make a killing with his NIL money. (BTW, BYU was not at the tournament.) The schools have been making money off of these athletes for years and this is a very good way for the athletes to make money on their NIL. Football at a University basically pays for itself and most of the other sports for men and women on campus and Men's Basketball is generally self sustaining. ALL of the women's sports at the University level are a drain on resources so don't be too down on the men's teams.
Have we heard any follow-up on the swearing BYU football player and the consequences of his actions? I would love this group to keep up to date on it. After all, the violation there extended to everyone who heard him and failed to report the player's violation. Cheers.

Please by all means tell us what was a lie so we can either correct the information or send you the sources so you can verify them yourselves (because that is what post Mormons do).
