Seems to quite a handy vehicle for small distance driving, eg in urban areas. All cars have blind spots, like the window pillars, so if you’re area of them you drive accordingly.. Noise wise, it was noisy, but I could hear your indicators working, but then all diesels are noisy so the manufacturer needs to put in better sound insulation.
I hope to sort out the sound insulation issue. I have replacement panels for the engine compartment, but also I think insulating the cab will help too. There is no headliner, for example.
Have decided to try to start up a self help forum up for us Mega van owners - for phase 1's, 2's and the electric version. So have been fighting with phpBB and have created a forum as part of my blog. Feel free to stop by if this is of interest to you. :-) megabreadvan.space/forum
@@MegaBreadvan what kind of UK license do you need to drive something like this? Very cool and really want one. Great information thankyou. Good video 😁
@@LoneWolf84-82 Cheers. I've lived in France for so long now that I've lost track of licensing bands over there. I suspect that it is a B1 license? Over here as I was born before 1988, I just need insurance. These vans look cute, but are really only good for short trips. They are noisy, slow, smelly and the heating system is rubbish. But I still love mine. :)
Most French diesel powered sans permis vehicles have small 2 cylinder Kubota engines. They are noisy as they were designed mainly for agricultural tractors. When have you ever heard a quiet tractor? :-)

I really want one.Why I don't know but I just do
I know the feeling... Despite the drawbacks : slow, noisy and smelly... But also very economical.
