    Thanks Mark.
    Love my Gator Blades.
What kind of tires do you run.
When my yards are wet, there's no way I can mow without tearing up some grass.

I cringe, every time he dumps his leaves on some pile somewhere, and does not toss them on a compost pile !

I got a used one and for this job it can't be beat. Running it as your primary machine is cost prohibitive. I think I'd be foolish to get rid of it. You need a backup anyway

I have been running a legit fulltime lawn business for 5 plus years and just found out that I was suppose to be paying property tax on my mowers and other equipment. I got a $300 bill in the other day. I'm suppose to turn in my inventory of all business stuff that I own every year and pay a tax on what it's worth. Do you believe that? Do you guys in your state have this crap to deal with?

To be honest I don’t know. I hope we don’t have to pay taxes on something we already paid taxes on.

Where did you get the hose coupling to join the 2 pieces of hose? I am having difficulty finding an 8" coupling

DR has them in a kit, call customer service and tell them what you are looking for. They have great customer service.

Mark, I have a DR here in the Seattle area....lots of wet leaves. Always struggle with the moisture and wet mud clogging the exit vent of the DR with the high-lift blades. I found a fix about 2 weeks ago that kept the air flowing and therefore the pipes cleaner. From the kitchen, I stole a plastic cutting board (1/4" thick, 14x24 size). I turned it sideways and drilled 2 holes in 2 corners. Inside the DR leaf chamber (trailer), I hung the cutting board about 4" away from the entry hose so it is just dangling in front. Once I start up, the plastic board is pushed back by the air.....almost all of the moisture and mud hit the board instead of the vent. It builds up on the board but since the surface is less porous than the vent screen, it drops off by itself. Now, just once in awhile I tap the screen for 20 seconds to clear the dust....instead of stopping every 30 mins. to use my air compressor to unclog the screen. I was surprised at the difference. Just passing on some Seattle moisture hacks. Hope it helps. Say a prayer for me once the wife starts looking for her cutting board.

The Scag and DR along with dual blowers appears to be the ultimate leaf cleanup machine. I like it!!!!

Looking great as usual Mark, liking that double blower setup. We are having a heck of a time with fall cleanups in NW Wisconsin this fall. Its been below freezing for over a week and the leaves, acorns, and sticks are literally frozen to the ground. Running over them with my Ferris vac system wont even touch most of them. Only way to tackle the job seems to be hovering my Echo 8010 almost vertical 2" off the ground to break the leaves free, trouble is it's causing cleanups to take 2-3 times as long as they should. Temps next week are going to continue to plummet into the single digits for lows and teens for highs. Went to install a Culvert yesterday and the ground is already frozen 2-3" down and the lakes are freezing over... I think we skipped Fall and went straight to winter this year. Take care.

We are all definitely struggling again this year with the leaf cleanups. This wi be 3 years in a row and the winter is looking like it is going to be worse than last year. Lake levels are estimated to hit record highs in all of the Great Lakes.

Agree that high lifts will probably do better since you basically have 2 blowers before it gets into the DR. Too much mulching . Got to get my hands on a DR or cyclone rake one of these days. That system works great. That yard is beautiful after you were done 👍
