Good that you caught this game despite it being in the 2nd tier. It's one of the biggest club matches in Norway but probably hasn't been covered by many vloggers (especially since it's been a rare fixture for many years).
As soon as I found out the two teams were in the same league this season I had to be here. I’m lucking I have a friend who lives in here who helped me get the ticket. Was a brilliant experience especially considering it was a 2nd tier!
Sad that you didnt go to the vålerenga corteo. Top 5 in scandinavia. Sitting in the lyn end maked the darby look worse sadly. But thank you for covering it ❤
I would have to disagree. Both fans sang throughout (although VIF the quantity was bigger) but we also got a great view of all your tifos. I would’ve preferred to be closer to your end but it wasn’t a bad seat for that at least
@@the_footballtouristi am a big vålerenga fan and we didnt have that much power like the fans usally sings higher and stuff but when you are playing badly but insane match
@@PurkenKommer We had alot of tourists who dont sing, which is normal for the big games. Just wish the tourists would stick to the sides instead of trying to stand in the middle.
@@the_footballtourist Well VIF havent had a trip down to 6th division in the last 13 years. Lyn averaged over 1k on Third tier in last season and no one expected them to go up. Lyn Ultras have been like 200 people the last years. Would need some time to get up to same level as VIF ultras which have been in Eliteserien since 01. Fun facts: 1. Lyn are founding members of the Norwegian football association. 2. Lyn played on Ullevål from 1926 - 2009. Vålerenga didnt start playing there until 1999 and played there until their new stadium (not the prettiest honestly). Lyn owned the most shares in the Company that drifted Ullevål until they had to sell their shares in 1993 due to financial troubles. They owned it a little bit again in the mid 90s but had to sell the shares again when it came up that they had given false financial information. 3. When they were in 6th division they had like 6k-3k on those matches. Over time that interest of course faded as it took 13 years to get back in the pro leagues. Btw Iam not a Lyn fan. Iam a Viking fan. We have a prettier stadium then Vålerenga btw 😉 I do like Lyn though. I lived in Oslo for 10 years and always felt closer to Lyn.
@@the_footballtourist No, no one in Norway are except the people on east side of Oslo. Most hated clubs in Norway (at least here on the west coast) is Vålerenga and Lillestrøm. They are not relevant at all except themselves. Guess its the news about them in the papers all the time that annoys me. Big news orgs are located in Oslo and use more time on VIF then on the better clubs. Rosenborg of course also gets extra even though they havent been relevant for years. The best fans in Norway is Branns fans. They sell out no matter how bad they do. And I say that as a Viking supporter which is our biggest rivals. As Viking is from Stavanger and Brann from Bergen. Called the "West coast derby". Though I do respect the VIF ultras. They makes some good tifos and pyro. Lillestrøm is just a train station from Oslo Airport to Oslo. Thats what they are known for.
@@ImperialMJG I went to see both those teams and I definitely agree that the VIF match day experience is better than the LSK one but it is crazy the best teams aren’t from the capital. Similar to Germany in that way it’s all Rosenborg Molde and Bodø who are the more powerful teams at the moment at least. I’d love to see Brann one day
The friend I was with and got me the ticket wanted to be in there but he couldn’t get more than one ticket unfortunately. On the plus side we got to see all the tifos!

@@VPPT690 Lol, the VIF fans couldn’t even organize a TIFO, let alone a chant
Thanks for covering this match and getting good footage of our displays. Not every game that gets 4 tifos :-D 💙❤
It was my pleasure :) Especially with all the effort VIF put in. As you say it’s not everyday supports bring 4 tifos!
I loved the view of VIF’s tifos here, I couldn’t exactly see it that well from under it all 😂
I can imagine 😅 the tifos were phenomenal
Lyn!
Between ik start and lyn which is the better team?
You’ll have to tell me who IK are did you mean VIF?
LYN LYN LYN
i was there❤😊
@@Skibidi_Loser Did you enjoy it?
@@the_footballtourist yes it was soooo fun

VIF ultras are the best in Norway I’d argue never mind better than Lyn
