Read the description and thought I'd give a little run down on the series. Etrian Odyssey is a series of 6 (plus a few spin offs) tough as nails first person dungeon crawlers that call back to old PC RPGs, even down to needing to draw your own map of the dungeon. A major focus is also on team building, making a party strong enough to survive the labyrinth, as for story there's really not much, most games the story is just "there is a labyrinth that no one has reached the end of,so you explore it for fame and glory" although the gameplay is satisfying enough to make up for that imo. If you want to give it a shot then the best entries to start with are 3 or 4, you can start anywhere aside from Nexus though (although i advise not starting with 2 because it expects you to kinda know what you're doing)
Dang! This is impressive. I really need to play through an Etrian Odyssey one day. I've started a few, but always found it somewhat hard to get into them
I'm not sure which part of it was hard to get into, but I wanna say the Untold games are good introduction games IMO! They have a prebuilt team you can use and a (simple) story that goes along with them so you can get a grasp of the dungeon crawling and skill tree nonsense before playing a classic EO where you make your own teams since you can definitely set yourself up for failure with difficult team compositions. Some games aren't for everyone though, just thought I'd throw this out in case you haven't given the Untold games a shot :)
look guitar playing is witchcraft to me I understand the struggle. the trumpets are rad as always! I never played this game either (my brother in law is a fan though) and I never heard the music before, sounds like I gotta check them out!
Man, I LOVE End of the Raging Waves. You did an excellent job and I'm glad you posted it on the Reddit sub so I could come across it!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the info! In that case, I think I'll give 3 a shot when I have some free time next!
I like how well balanced the lead melody trumpets are with the rest of the instruments, this rocks! That rock piano is beautiful too. Nice work!
Thanks so much! I've been experimenting a lot with mixing recently, so I'm glad it sounds good!
I love brass and guitar. I need to do more of it.
Thanks! It’s a pretty cool combo that I feel like doesn’t get heard much!
Even though you say in the description that the electric guitar was mostly editing, I didn't notice it when listening.
Well done!
Thank you! One of these days I'll actually try to learn how to play guitar! But until then, my fingers are gonna continue to hurt like hell😆
Wait, people are actually acknowledging these games again-? Woo!
Thanks for giving this a listen!
This is a beautiful gem you have here
Thanks so much!

Thanks! I've also never played one either, but by the OSTs alone they sound super fun!
