Funny story... I was going up to Kansas about 1½ yrs ago to pick up some Appliances we had purchased though an auction. As I got off the Highway, there was a campground right off the exit, and they were parked there! Well, I too, live in a Skoolie, and so it's kinda a family thing to always notice other Skoolies "in the wild" we call it. Naturally, I had to stop and check it out! Well we ended up meeting, and had a pleasant conversation. If you remember me, Thanks for doing that! Anyway, it's nice to see what was on the inside of the bus, as I didn't want to intrude, and I totally understand that it's a home, and even with ours, we don't bring people in ours as it is our "safe space". Thanks for the video!
Great bus build and amazing family life for you both and your children ! Kudos to you both for living life and enjoying your children while in their childhood instead of placing them in a box and stifling their learning and growth ! Beautiful home and family 🎉 # safe travels # buslife since 2015 full time @BeachNest Momma 🚎
What an amazing couple you are!!! your children are getting the best education ever, travelling and experiencing the world. Your bus is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always. I love you.
Love the energy of these two. The life there are giving their children will help them grow into well rounded, smart adults. Kudos on the space. Very homey. Love your kitty. She seems older and needs the love too.
First of all, I'm obsessed with schoolies! This is by far the best one I've seen. No question about it. And I've seen a million. Great job. Safe travels and enjoy❤
The rig is innovative and sturdy looking. The bedroom seems spacious like many of the areas. I jsut hope that there's some understanding of the kids wanting to stay stationary or needing more space or more privacy. Some 2. Gen kids in skoolies don't want to worry their parent or siblings and don't let thwm.knoq how they really feel. You look like beight people and I'm 100% sure that you have all that in mind. Especially with 5 kids in the rig.
I love the entry stairs. I took a photo of the stair when I toured the bus at Bus Fair. Also, photo of the desk area and of course many of the 2nd level from the outside. So many great ideas from the Bus Fair! I can't wait until next year!
What a wonderful family, love all their traditional values, and such a beautiful home and sweet kitty there too, (love her little bandana), so cute! ❤️
What a lovley couple the schoolie is perfect has everything they and the kids need , love that they are giving their kids the perfect life of travel it would be a great learning experience also like the home schoolin they are well rounded adults and have designed such an epic Tiny home on wheels . Love what she said about the birth of the one child so cool and probably healtheir. Very clever smart layout love everything about the build . Ontario, Canada
Great build, great family!! Thank you for sharing your home and experiences with us! I actually had my last 2 children with midwifes. One at home and the last in the hospital with midwives overseeing the L&D!
Hey! i'm so excited to see your video! we have been wanting to do this for a couple years and we saw you guys driving through Springfield Missouri one day. Just want to say you are an inspiration! Your bus & family is beautiful! Congratz! 💝
Wow you have a beautiful home in your bus, everything you have done is fantastic five children and I love the built part on top to. I come from a very big family my mother had seven girls and six boys and the grand children and great ones also great great 👍💖
Haha ......as a Great Pyrenees (130 pounds) mom myself, seeing Jock just laying there, chilling, and ignoring what was going on around him was just so very......typical. ❤
All your stories are inspiring from the home births, the daughter catching the 5th baby ,the bus build, home schooling , not too mention living in the bus with 5 children , then you show a huge dog and you have a cat. My mind is spinning! wow that there are people like you, and your so young looking, you don't look stressed or tired , where did you come from haha. I'm truly amazed. Thank you for that and your children are so lucky or blessed.
in future you will know you’ll get a landed home anyway for the future of your kids. Which I saw many family building their “dream” home from a bus or a truck.
Moderating temperature in a home on wheels can be a bit tricky, but I'm sure Anna & Jeff have found ways to keep all of their kiddos comfortable and content! I feel like as a kid a cubby or a lofted bedroom would have felt more cozy and exciting. :)
This video needs a section on gas and mileage…like get to the ugly side of living in one of these things yea it’s a cool house on wheels but most, if not all, Skoolie builds gets 7-9 mpg which is bad
I would definitely only expect them to be getting 6-7 mpg. Our full size Skoolie gets 10-11 mpg though. How much people spend on fuel totally depends on how fast they are traveling... If they're spending a week in each location and only driving for 3 ish hours each week, they are probably saving a lot of money because of removing rent and other expenses... Though engine failure is incredibly expensive.
@@lynettebr what you think they deserve a bed in a room maybe shared with another child??? i put my sweatshirts on the shelve..somebody ask them (because they have NO SCHOOL friends who could ask) do you have your own room ? no I sleep on a shelves in a old school bus. a games room???isn't a room a place you can walk into?? i must have a games room and the underside of my kitchen table confused,,,

It was nice looking at the bus than you have kid's that's OK but than you show a big nasty dog I know that place is dirty with dog hair's who can eat anything from there

What a great renovation! Could definitely see myself traveling in that! 🩷

This is very interesting. I like the design and your style is wonderful. Thanks for the tour.
Would you consider coverting a double-decker bus in the future to provide the kids with more rooms?
Thats a great idea
This is the best bus build I have ever seen and I've seen many! I myself have a motor home that I'm converting to give it a tiny house bus look.
I just love your beautiful home. I'm watching from Dublin Ireland ! Hugs to you and your family. 🍀🍀💚💚😺😺🇮🇪🇮🇪🍀🍀
You two did a great job! The layout is amazing. 5 kids & you have nice digs for each of them. Happy Trails to you!

Beautiful. Great job. Wonderful family
Y'all have inspired me so much! Thank you for sharing your wonderful story! Wish all the health and happiness for you and your family ❤
What an awesome tour impressed ..❤❤❤
Yes!!! I just saw this driving on the Oregon coast!!!! 🌊🌲🏞️
Excellent build!
Not sure what I am more impressed with. Is it the bus or the couple? Both are outstanding.
So cool! How do you fit 7 people in a jeep though
Omg we seen you on 75 in michigan last September. My husband and I love your bus. Great job on the bus!
Haha ......as a Great Pyrenees (130 pounds) mom myself, seeing Jock just laying there, chilling, and ignoring what was going on around him was just so very......typical. ❤
With the second story and towing the jeep, I can’t help but ask what kind of mileage do you get.
Wow that's a very nice place you have there if more people did that there wouldn't be any homeless that's so awesome.
Awesome!
Awesome build
You have a wonderful home, really beautiful! Would love to know more about the app you were speaking of, sounds very helpful!
This is a very thought out home. I think you did well. Do you have a home base? I really do think you did great. Good luck!👍🌞🌴

how do you all fit in the jeep?

Are you in Oregon right now, along the coast? I think we saw you today!

WOW! ❤
Do the dream thanks I like that and it is worth it
Where do you get insurance for this?
💛
i heard another rv'r say they use a garmin trucker gps app to help with their ht & size travel
id hate to be a van life kid tbh sleeping in a coffin dosent sit well with me
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Your daughter caught your new born! No hospital bills! But if you had complications then your midwife was there and you were close to a hospital.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nice work. That addition must eat up a little fuel mileage though.
The bus is fantastic 😊Obviously for you guys the birthing experience was your choice & it turned out ok - but not for me.
Being on the road, I wonder how they handled routine prenatal care.
Cat litter box in the bedroom......yuk!!!!!
I wonder how often his kids end up sleeping on the couches to be near the AC and away from those stuffy cubbies and “bedroom” on the hot roof
I'm getting the vibe that dad pulls in some serious bank and mpg means nothing when it comes to family happiness.
Bu you don’t pay for home mortgage, house taxes, electricity or water at a house. Also you are not driving everyday so it is not that bad
I would worry about the height restriction. You have to plan routes where there are no bridges or overpasses
They don't though. He said there's an app that plans it all for them and it's never been a worry.
@@ShhhhhNow I saw that later in the video, but how do you get into a gas station? I think thats possibly even higher than 18 wheelers.
ooof, that is too small for a family of 7. I thought our 1300 square foot house (not counting garage) was small for our family of 7.
I think it's ridiculous making 5 kids cram into a bus.
so the parents get a loft bed and the kids get the tiniest bunk beds?
The kids are basically on shelves
3 bunks main floor and 2 bedrooms and a games room for their kids upstairs. Parents bedrooms is on main floor
they dont care about their children ,they are saving money and travelling ...

@@MeanOldBastardBikerBob Imagine when the older ones are teenagers and crawling about in the cramped loft area where that ladder is. Particularly if the teens are tall.
There’s nothing tiny about their home. It’s not tiny anymore.
for a family of 7 yes it is lol
How is 300 square feet for a family of 7 not tiny?
Is tiny home defined by the number of family members ? Or is it size & space that determines if its a tiny home ?
@@tyc1Z.Z1 valid point, but even under my understanding of what a tiny home definition is, anything under 400 square feet is considered a tiny home.
