- Christopher Wheeldon takes us behind the scenes of his artistic process, and talks about how NYCB's repertory and dancers played a crucial part in his development from NYCB soloist into world-renowned choreographer.
He's definitely one of my all time favorite choreographers.
This is wonderful--touché, NYCB, for putting this online. Wheeldon appears to be a wonderful communicator, capable of working well with all sorts of people. He brings out the best in performers, and is admirably humble. I've long admired his work; I now really admire him as well.
I love him. Especially what he created for Royal Ballet.
His story is beautiful makes me wanna cry
I saw his THIRTEEN DIVERSIONS in Costa Mesa, California and was utterly amazed that such complex choreography could manage to coalesce into a thing of such exquisite beauty
