The original rave scene. The start of everything and the last musical/youth revolution. Never to be touched. Never to be repeated. I salute everyone who was there. 89-93. It was just simply..... massive. 🙌🏼
Respect to all who were involved the legendary Cambridge Rave Scene of '90/'91/'92 - Eclipse (Corn Exchange), Love of Life (Kelsey Kerridge), Fantasy (The Junction), Proper Stuff, Kite High, Bliss, Destruction, Exodus, etc, etc (various warehouses) - you know who you are!!! The irony of this comment is when the stuff first came out there would have been people your age at the time saying the same when a classic rock/70s disco track came back into fashion, and in 30 years time, when us in our 20s our in our 50s will be saying the same when a modern style EDM track comes back into fashion after whatever comes after trap/drill has long since become a fad in memory..... let's just appreciate good music for what it is rather than knocking genre shifts. We're naturally going to like what came out when we're young due to nostalgia, it doesn't make what comes next bad.
@@crazycanine4525 There's a degree of truth in your view. Powerful statement in the shortest way put.. When in the moment, Its like we take for granted, we dont realise how amazing that moment was, until looking back and thinking i want that again. Nostalgia kills me because i just want that all again.
Gosh I thought I was the only 50 year old absolutely loving this track. Found it on a playlist and now its on my playlist for the gym. Happy I found it but feeling melancholy about hitting 50 yet still feel 25 when this type of music comes on.....oh they were great days back in the 90's!!! Getting older has its advantages but not being able to rip it up in the clubs is not one of them!
This tune is a banger. A real callback to the piano led dance music of the early to mid 90s, coupled with simple, but brutally honest, lyrics that really do make you yearn to be able to turn back the clock
When the first version of this song came out i was addicted, didnt think i could love it anymore. Literally the best song EVER. summer 2021 here we come

Why would we think this era was a phase and would pass without anything coming close to it? Why? We were invincible and globe conquerors! We owned everything but owned nothing, we understood everything but under knew nothing, we were dead in the day and immortal at night. Why would we think things would change? The world was perfect just as it was but we knew how to improve it no end. Ah 90s rave, what a time to be young and alive.
