These videos should show the arrow flying to the target. It's so much more impressive (like golf tournaments) and gives a much better idea of how far the arrows are flying. Just seeing an arrow appear on the target doesn't mean much.
The year before the Olympics and the Korean head coach is standing behind Ku instead of wonderboy Kim. A year later Kim bows out in the second round and Ku wins gold. Did he know something no-one else did?

It's really strange that at (2:05) the shooter while aiming holds his elbow joint not fully open but bent and he opens it at the moment of shot. This hardly may be helpful/
Woojin's elbow isn't bent. This is universal in archery. To shoot with bone structure rather than muscle, one must rotate their bow arm so that the crease of the elbow is perpendicular to the floor; this is most easily done by using proper grip technique. It's not an easy task, but upon follow-through, the elbow returns to its natural position. The end result looks bent, but it isn't. This is what all archers are attempting to achieve as shooting with muscle is inefficient and has proven dangerous.

It's a high draw. Far easier to open up the bow that way.

How exactly to count the score.....why the first set Ku Bonchan won
Wahyu 5151 The higher score gets 2 points. If the score is equal there's a split and both of the archers get 1 point. In the first set Ku scored a 30, 2 arrows were very close to the line so at first they were marked as 9 but than the judge updated the score resulting in a 30-29 for Ku.
