Hi! Well... I think when you write a trip report you precisely report the experience you actually have. It may differ for different airlines as for different flights with the same airline as well. So I think the most important thing is to be objective, serious and respectful and in my opinion you was...
I had a great experience with Vueling. Nothing was delayed and the flight was ok.

if you do not know how things work, do not say them! I have flown for an airline, and Rome is the most terrible airport in Europe with the ground handling, we have always been on time only by the handling we always leave hours later! so do not judge vueling if you do not know how things work thanks 😇
It was cheap, you did arrive at your destination and the plane did not crash. Hurray !!

Totally agree with you . Had not one but many bad experiences with VY , flights are almost always delayed and no information is given . Now I try to avoid them until they show us some improvement

Never using Vueling again, after my experience. No notification of my flight being cancelled. No staff at Luton airport to assist. Refused to give a refund or rebooking. The staff did not know the flight was cancelled so people were going to the gate, and was charged £20 to check in at the airport (non eu passport holders, like me were not allowed to check in online)
That‘s crazy to charge people for checking in at the airport because they are not able to check in online! Thanks for watching!

Totally agreed that the handling at Rome was really bad. I wonder if airport operations are partly to blame for the inexcusable boarding screw-ups, rather than Vueling itself (?).

The departure language looked very busy. But the Down side is that your plane is not at a air bridge.
But the plane look cool.

My experience with Vueling it was be fortunately
Nice! Very disappointing to see an airline that has a boarding process where you stand outside for 30 minutes, arrive at the plane and sit in the bus for 10, and your flight ends up being delayed by an hour.
When the plane landed I was reminded of my trip report I did on an American Airlines A320 from Charlotte to Minneapolis; the landing was really hard and the whole cabin reacted.
I had two VY flights two years ago. The first one was delayed by five fucking hours, and they didn't apologize or named any reasons for the delay, neither in the terminal nor in the plane. At least the plane was very new, an A321 (and it had seatpockets and even USB ports on some seats). On the way back I was in the exact same aircraft, the flight was acceptably on time and the crew was friendly. Luckily in BCN I always got air bridges, in STR once a bus (but it was organized). I btw saw that Vueling recently sends A320neos from BCN to MUC, maybe these have a higher standard.
So it's a mixed bag, you never know what you'll get with this airline.

gehört.
In Dortmund standen die Leute teilweise bei größter Hitze im "Finger" in der
Warteschlange und kamen nur verzögert in die Maschine.

Eine Stunde Verspätung, eine Busodysee und Kaugummi in der Sitzlehne, igitt! 🤢😰 LH oder AZ wären auf der Strecke wesentlich besser, aber wahrscheinlich auch zu teuer... ☹️ Ich bin auch im September Vueling geflogen (BCN - SVQ) und fand die eigentlich ganz ok, relativ ereignisloser, jedoch turbulenter Flug. Wäre trotzdem aufgrund des Sitzabstandes nicht meine erste Wahl. 😆
P.S. : Das Bistro Angebot in FCO selbst fand ich gar nicht mal so toll als ich im Juli dort war... Vielleicht habt ihr ja bessere Erfahrungen gemacht... 😜
Ja, LH oder AZ wäre da doch die bessere Wahl gewesen.

Vueling is owned by IAG. I think the IAG airlines have the worst customer service out of the EU3 legacies. So your bad experience on Vueling is typical and normal.
Iberia is the most disappointing airline I ever had on long haul. Business and Economy class sucked...
There is a list with the most claimed airlines of Europe and in second place its Iberia.
Not Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus are very good.
FYI, planes are not cleaned on budget airlines between flights. You need to understand what you are paying for, or to be more precise what you are not paying for.

Vielleicht hätte man "Pissed off report" drüberschreiben sollen :D Ich kann die Verärgerung verstehen... Mein Flug von Alicante nach Mallorca mit Vueling war soweit ok, aber einwas fand ich furchtbar. Die hatten eine total nervige Boarding Music, die auch noch die gaaaaaaaaanze Zeit bis zum Abheben lief. Das ging überhaupt nicht. Die Kritik an den Sitzen würde ich auch unterstreichen!

Typical LowCost Airline I don't like. Nothing special. But what you will aspect for 45 € ? Its like always : you pay less you get less. For a low cost I prefer Eurowings in Europe.
