She has those squeaks, growls, whistle tone, cry and her mastery runs to seldom singer has plus her emotion embodying every lyric of the song that penetrates every viewers inner soul. Surprised you only caught the band being "late" 1x in this one, She was on fire that night and sadly the band was slow and got left in the dust of Mori's Vocal prowess several times, You can see at 8:43 she's about to lose it on Adonis (Bass Player, Musical Director) as she grabs her head and sharply snaps him a look as to say Comon Man, KEEP UP!!
Having had the discussion with him and I asked, " Sir, what happened there"?? he said they had no chance to rehearse as he and his team arrived late to the venue and had to do the whole show impromptu kinda.He explained, Mori is just so good, you have to really be ready to perform with her or she can make you look bad.
Since watching them together he has learned and they are a perfect fit today, She is simply like a Thoroughbred racehorse at the starting Gate in every performance, and when the gate drops, you better be ready or she will leave you in the Dust.
They have many new Performances posted in the last yr. and suggest you check out some more recent work with this group, especially the Bruno Mars Medley and several of her New Original Tracks on her Channel.

Actually, I've noticed that she often slightly leads or lags the beat as a way of providing an edginess to the sound.

I have to disagree, one of the things I've always been impressed with is her timing, she always hits the notes at the EXACT moment she needs to.

0:26 I think she was telling the band the next song they’ll be performing, and someone from the band was verifying if it’s ’Hello’, and she answered jokingly, “no it’s goodbye”!!! 😆😆😆 Then she went on to say, “This is hard, because I’m happy right now”, pertaining to the emotional state she’s in at the moment to sing this sad song.

Morissette - Never Enough on the wish bus. This is one of the reasons why I love Mori because she makes it her own when she does song cover unlike some other artists out there who just do straight up the same as the original, I mean what's the point?🤷

Apparently, this was an impromptu request. She was laughing at the start because she said it was hard for her to sing this song as she was happy at that moment. However, as soon as the song starts, her mood and disposition immediately changes to something somewhat serious. Mori was I think merely 19 years old here or very early 20 year old. Wow!!! Nice reaction. Please react to her recent originals: Ang Pahuwat and Wishing Well. These performances feature Mori's softer more intimate side. She said she's being more judicious about her power belting in order to preserve her voice for the long term. Her softer tone is so warm and soothing, and has so much nuance. She's really matured as an artist in the last couple of years and it shows in her most recent performances.
You must know Her better. She's a VOCAL BEAST.
Someone in the event called her that he was not satisfied with the result in her event performance as he posted on facebook but later the post was deleted after flocked and struck by several commentors on his insights comment few weeks ago.
