As someone who mostly works with content, I really appreciate the Editor mode and customization! No unnecessary stress about messing up the design or site structure!
I just checked it out. Unlimited users? And no paid workspace plan. That's insane... Is this the new Webflow for Freelancers that don't build Enterprise websites for clients?
Starting a new project with ycode. Things on top of framer: fullsized API for automating which is such a demanded and NOT delivered feature in framer. Another thing is much more control in cms pages - dynamic alt-text out of the cms for example. Two relevant things for me framer could not do right now. Framer is ahead in plugins and components though.
Hey Jesse, I’ve learned a lot from you and other UA-camrs! But whenever I try to design something cool, I just can’t seem to pull it off. I don’t want to create just random websites; I want to come up with new and unique concepts. Lately, I’ve been stuck on flat designs, and when I try to make something modern or different, I just don’t know where to start. Any chance you could make a video on how to design awesome stuff and find inspiration? Would really appreciate it!
looks like a great platform i was playing around and noticed tho how does one change the durations between states? as of now it just switches no option to have smooth transitions
This must be a sponsored video - Ycode: Is this "NOT" the future of Visual Web Development. I have a client on Ycode, and I'll move them on when the time is right.
A little too inspired by Framer, like more like a ripoff of Framer, in my opinion. Whatever is more user friendly than Webflow works for me though, LOL
R.I.P Webflow But Framer is still better, I don't see any benefits of using Ycode, especially when you have Plugins that extends Framer functionality like authentications and payments. Don't forget that you can add custom code and custom component and create dynamic and complex functionality really easy
Dude. The product is awesome. Your explanation is precious. Thanks!
WOW!!! This is a really useful tool for people like me as a designer, thanks for sharing!

Great with some more competition in this space!

Another great video of a product I wasn't familiar with but now need to check out. Thanks for sharing all of your discoveries.
Ycode is definitely the child of Webflow & Framer 😂

The pagespeed test of ycode is (right now) reason enough not to take ycode seriously.

@JesseShowalter Would you start using Ycode for client sites or will you be sticking w/Framer?

Is the pricing as bad?
Better than Squarespace?
does it have unlimited workspace?
Yes, workspaces are unlimited and users are free.

If only it can generate code like Webflow 😣
You are telling me the blog Posts cant be edited with the page editor? Thats lame
I'm just now coming to grips and terms with AI and now software is having babies? What's next lol

Why would this be the future? It's just another copycat builder with a copycat workflow and copycat features designed for non-professional users.
R.I.P Webflow

Framers plugin API is so limited and boring
