Thank you! I’m struggling with the fear of my roundoff back handspring right now. I never want to go for it. I know I can physically do it. I just get scared of going backwards.

@Gamingsports-yb9pm thank you I had a hard time today thinking that I was the only gymnast in the whole world who was scared of a round off back handspring, but you all have told me otherwise. I'm going to get as high as I can get with this sport. You all have truly changed my life for the better. Thank you!!!

I have been out of training for 8 months now. I tried doing the round off backhandspring couple of days back but I failed. I always feel depressed if I do not get any skill that I am performing in gymnastics. I too know that I can do it but it is just the mental blockade and fear that is stopping me. I hope I get back to my original form.

I can do a backhand spring, even multiple backhand springs (even up to a triple) but I just can’t get over the fear of doing a round off backhand spring. I will try and do it on Monday with the help of your wise words. Will keep you updated!

I quit gymnastics after eight years because I couldn't do three backhandsprings in a row on the floor(I had extreme mental block, I would flat up freeze up as soon as I walked into the gym)... I'm going back after about 3-4 years tomorrow.

@@ToneZonePerris after a couple practices, I have realized that if I trust my coach I move quickly. It's been maybe a month and I'm already doing backtucks! Feels great honestly
