Moral foundation theorists should investigate how and why people disagree about moral foundations. E.g., the international law on genocide expresses a consensus across cultures that genocide is wrong. But a few of the most powerful politicians in the world appear to disagree, and are allowed to obstruct the laws from being implemented. International law hasn’t evolved a way of preventing this obstruction of justice.

Nations do not agree that genocide is worng it's just current consensus which when resources become more scarce again will be questioned

Mass surveillance and interment camps of people by the CCP, as well as moment to moment thought control, is not morality.

I think maybe because you can't remember childhood very well is why people may have moral intuitions that they haven't thought about and maybe can't explain.

... actually, these Atheists did remember their childhood being raised by their religious parents with good morals and right conduct inspired by their parents' faith in a loving GOD....
.. sadly, after enrolling in these institutions of learning that are teaching Darwin's IGUANA as the Original Mama, that there is no Creator, they abandoned Jesus to behave like wild unaccountable gorillas...

Morality is innate. Even a one-year-old child has the sense of wrong and right. How do we determine what is moral? I think morality and ingredients of morality can be determined from the expectation of behaviour from a person in a large public gathering place.

It does appear to be all biology and environment - change the environment and the biology changes as well over time. And positively or negatively; peace or unpeace, try to develop your consciousness in an unpeaceful environment. While the evolution may happen, I would think it would happen in a more effective manner to the opposite mentioned ....

It's not my place to judge people and their actions. For many have stated concerning others actions: my oh my, I could never imagine doing such a thing. People, if in a situation of life or death, will become extreme, as one example. Therefor I question why such persons cannot step in others shoes momentarily. Such a person could not imagine even what it'd be like having to survive a calamity. Does such a person even know, too some extent atleast, both this worlds environment, it's conditions, the perilous factors and themselves, theirs body, mind etc.. Karma/causation/ramification - actions have consequences; but sometimes good and just actions have bad consequences, martyrdom as example, and sometimes bad actions result in beneficent rewards, stealing as example. Sometimes people judge actions only and care not about the intent, incentive, reason, justification - and this concerns the police, because this is their mindset, for their job is to enforce the law and only the law.
Not all judgement is wrong, or rather discernment. For I do observe others for the sole reason in better understanding myself. Life is a trial, a school, there are levels. Who a man was 15 yrs ago isn't who he is now and who he is now won't be who he is 15 to come. People walk with blinders on or a vail, also known as ignorance. In freemasony they'll blindfold a man representing a state of darkness. In a sense everybody is walking round with blinders on trying to feel their way through the dark, sensing and feeling through their sense perception organs, and add desire and fear and jealous to it and it modifies it all in a perverse way or deluded way, especially with emotional attachments involved.
It's not are place to judge others actions, or if so only to understand oneself better. For actions incur karma, either negative, Lukewarm or positive. This is inexorable; you can't stop this, but one can remove themselves from it. Life is a process, a type of learning experience they phrase it. It's all so conditional. It's survival.
Every man has dreams, desires and hope, he also experiences pain, suffering, loss, and wants good, wants safety and prosperity. Man tries to do good unto the man next to him, be it the police or gangs and mobs, be it politicians, bankers, church goers and the rich class, there's still loyalty and order in even evil gangs.
If man truly Knows, is enlightened and wise, he renounces the world. He doesn't carry a country name, or religious title above his head, he doesn't allow his mind to rule him or others to influence him. Actions have consequences.
Because man is ignorant he compartimentalizes very early on, for it is survival. Man early on doesn't truly know so it's all proximation between who he consider good and who he consider wrong; between what the status quo of conventional is and what unconventional. Everybody is influenced and everybody is influential. If your parents where liberal there's a high probability that you'll be liberal. What's familiar to man is what becomes the form of ideal; it's what's right or good.
Ultimately people walk in darkness. They reify and rationalize. They survive. They're at the mercy of nature and many perils. Actions have consequences. We incur both positive and negative karma. The worldly desires and sensual delectations are snares and they trap many people i.e., alcoholism, greed, negligence, self centerness, etc. We all pay a price. Whatever we take from the world we will, sooner or later, have to pay it back. For what ever we seek to possess always ends up possessing us.
Sympathy the charge of Knowledge attainment.
Mercy the charge of great Wisdom.
    Forgiveness the charge of Power(authority)
Allowing others to view you as wrong or silly the charge of Knowing Thyself.

Believers see morality as coming directly from the mind of God. That means that God had a priori knowledge of morality before humans ever existed. The problem with that is that *morality has clearly evolved* over time, and even within the pages of The Bible. Once we had gladiators; ... now we don't. Once we stoned adulteresses; ... now we don't. Once we wiped out the Amorites; ... now we don't.
"Life" represents an evolution from inanimate structure to living substance. My position is that "Existence" *had no idea* what morality was during the early stages of life. "Morality" is information that we self-aware humans have provide to "Existence" to reconcile many of the *negative consequences* of moving from inanimate structure to living structure.
Humanity has learned that engineering processes that work perfectly at lower levels can prove disastrous at higher levels. ... _"Existence" has learned the same!_

Morality doesn't evolved over time, it was being discovered over time. Reality and truth is always there, we just keep learning more about it. What actually evolves are the laws we make based on it

@ *"Morality doesn't evolved over time, it was being discovered over time."*
... I don't agree, and here is why. "Morality" only applies to a level of life capable of understanding morals. The only species known to comprehend morality is Human._ Morality would be meaningless during the early stages of the universe nor was there any "moral dilemmas" when the first hydrogen atoms formed during recombination.
It just makes more sense that the construct of morality emerged right along with the species that was able to comprehend it, and both have been evolving together symbiotically up to today's date ... where we are STILL evolving everything that's intellectually attached to "morality."
