It is all very cute but dogs should not steal, point. He needs to understand that he has his toys and these things do not belong to him. Perhaps with more training, structure and exercise that could reduce the issue. If any case, it is not good to have a dog chasing attention, especially around a baby. A content dog does not have the need to look for it.

Other dog owners, especially the beginners, could understand that as an acceptable behavior.

Actually, any animal should not be left alone with an infant. But after rescuing many, many goldens of all ages in the past 25 yrs - goldens are by far one of the most loving and devoted breeds. Koby and that baby girl will grow up together to be the best of friends! 💛😊

This was one of the worst dog mom's I have ever witnessed. You are literally encouraging his actions. You need to discipline him when he missed behaves. Dogs need to respect you when your dog misbehaves. You need to let them know that you've misbehaved. You need to change your tone of voice. Change your body language. Do things that indicate to the dog that he's done something bad. You don't need to physically harm your dog. But you need to Express to your dog that he has made a mistake. Otherwise you are just encouraging the behavior.

I highly recommend you don’t leave that dog alone with your child. Parents just recently learned this the hard way. They had a dog for 8 years and after the new baby, their dog killed that new born because he was jealous of her. Be careful.
