I think JBL gives out the final specs of the speakers to different big OEM manufactures, and their engeneering team has to construct all this stuff, and what you see is the result of two different companys try to achive the specs from JBL.
I still don't understand why they are making different models right at the releasing. When a speaker is out like 2 months, then I understand that they make different models. But right at the beginning different models with that huge difference? Great video!
I just got my JBL charge 4 back I had the black GG model but I got back the Black TL model but the GG charge 5 sounds better than the TL it's usually the other way around interesting 🤔
Hey! I have a question. I have this model but there is a "radio like" noise sound coming from the Tweeter. It's noticable on lower volume but on louder volume it is still there but not noticable since the sound is so loud. Is this normal? Or is it faulty? Got the TL version btw. Same color.

But why is JBL doing this? These aren't even vastly different manufacturing dates, so not even explainable by hardware revisions. Does JBL now only make the exterior design and DSP software, and instead lets 3rd parties produce their own designs under license?
I thinks its more on what's more available raw materials in local markets, thats why they made some changes in inner parts of the charge 5 depending on what country they where made from?
@@numerouno7874 Raw materials doesn't explain the use of completely different molds for plastic parts, and different PCB layouts, ultimately implementing the same circuit, manufactured at the same time.
So the consumer can verify the model by the color? Blue= TL and Green= ND? I don't care about the looks, I just want the one that sounds the best. After the sound test it's the Green ND for me.

Hola, yo compre el Charge 5 azul en un distribuidor oficial en Bolivia de JBL hace unos días. NT Made in Vietnam, lo abrí para ver si se parece mas al TL que dicen que suena mejor en los medios y no mucho los bajos y que también tiene una construcción no muy prolija, o si por el contrario se parece mas a la versión ND que suena menos claro en los medios pero tiene mas bajos y su construcción es mejor, es decir viene en un solo case interior y la rejilla no dobla como en el TL. Una vez abierto se parece casi en todo al ND toque la bocina pero no sabría decir si mes plástico o papel, pero supongo que tanto las versiones TT y NT son fabricadas recientemente y debe ser una construcción hibrida. Compra de donde te den una buena garantía sin miedo que al final suena genial. Un saludo

I just got my JBL charge 4 back I had the black GG model but I got back the Black TL model but the GG charge 5 sounds better than the TL it's usually the other way around interesting 🤔

it's completely normal, Little bit of "hissing" noise coming from the speakers because of Bluetooth

It could be hardware revisions where they had made the blue/black speaker first and found a better way to manufacture it later on
