wouldn't it be rather eels in the head ? that's actually a thing ! ancient method to capture eels is attaching a rope to a larger head and then throw it in the water for a few days - eels will enter the slippery rotten head, feast on the juicy brain for a last time and then getting cunningly caught in a nearby river town they still did this a few yrs ago, using cow and horse heads to catch tasty eels👌
Yea, but knowing the education system, the guy might've been forced to teach useless topics. That's why it's better to just be a tutor than a teacher bc they at least teach something an an easier and more useful way.
Maybe some people will be intrested in this: In minute 5:16 there is an Electric Knife fish in the vídeo. Although some people think knife fish and eels are the same, they are not even related. Plus, knife fish are from fresh water so surely they will not be on the heart of a shark. It is very common to confuse them. Real eels are easy to recognize by the fangs, big eyes and a fin in the back, knife fish are toothless, they don’t have big eyes (even so they are kinda blind) and also they lack a fin the back. I hope it will be useful for the recognition of these animals.
Yeah and I've heard of coral getting into someone's cut in their foot and growing. They kept putting hydrogen peroxide on but it kept getting infected. It was surgically removed.
Barnacles don't hurt whales. Infact, they aren't considered a true parasite. However, researchers think barnacles might help protect whales skin from getting other parasites(if they have enough of them). But also, whales can use their barnacles to remove harmful parasites from other whales in their pod.
I love your videos. You do your research well. I look forward to seeing every new video from you and Steve pop up in my feed. My only question is what is YOUR name? Thank you, much love from New Zealand.
Barnacles have the largest member in proportion to body size of any animal. 8 times the body length (on average but up to 50x) when stout is the equivalent of a six foot man sporting a 5 story telephone pole. Barnacles can go "clubbing" without leaving the house.
Good luck getting a job using what you've learnt here. I agree he makes great videos and the narrator is great too but don't confuse something interesting with something useful, like an education.
0:59 I think you have misunderstood your source. The Anelasma does use this resource. The paper or National Geographic article where you took this from was pondering why more barnacles haven't evolved the same trait, considering many barnacles live on whales, turtles etc.
Rammstein fans know the title song of the album, Mutter (Mother), has the line, "In ihren Lungen wohnt ein Aal," In her lungs lives an eel. That line seems a little less weird now. (Just a little 🤔)
Ahh, ok, I was going to say, if they were electric eels, then this would have been some sort of natural pace maker for the shark, who probably had a recent heart attack, and that was just the sea life's version of our common pace maker. The sharks heart stops, the eels zap, and there you go!
There’s a secluded and sloped rocky beach back home whales would use to scrape off their barnacles. They would thrust themselves against the rocky slope of the beach using the rocks to “scratch” the barnacles off.
@@jayewherner7435 I talked about languages rather than places, German, not Germany. "Butterflies in the stomach" stands for having a crush at s.o. and being excited whenever that person shows up or is just spoken about.
Toxoplasmosis is a brain parasite that sometimes uses humans in it's life cycle. very common in people who own cats. It can cause some unusual symptoms like impulse control problems, promiscuity, mood swings, and irrational behavior like no fear in dangerous situations. Treatments are fairly simple.
Eels in the heart sounds like a way to describe someone who acts nice and innocent on the surface but is actually slippery and cunning.
A dark empath
A snake
wouldn't it be rather eels in the head ?

I would've topped Biology classes if this guy was my teacher
Yea, but knowing the education system, the guy might've been forced to teach useless topics. That's why it's better to just be a tutor than a teacher bc they at least teach something an an easier and more useful way.
Bro this ain't biology. This is all zoology my school didnt offer that
Love your channel , you do such a wonderful job and you're the most entertaining animal channel on UA-cam.

I am now convinced that my minor heart murmur is actually two eels.
Heart: Random ka-thump
Me: AHHH GAWD THE EELS THEY ARE MOVING
Yeah and I've heard of coral getting into someone's cut in their foot and growing. They kept putting hydrogen peroxide on but it kept getting infected. It was surgically removed.
Sounds interesting
Huh? it takes eons for a coral reef to fully develop. how does a piece manifest itself into the wound so quickly ?
@@lisaharner3542 Lisa u better just do ur own damn research bro lol

8:19 only WATOP can deliver such masterclass poetry.
No one makes a video like yours. So dam entertaining
harmless barnacles can also be found growing on the shells of sea turtles due to their longevity and slow growth
I love your videos. You do your research well. I look forward to seeing every new video from you and Steve pop up in my feed. My only question is what is YOUR name? Thank you, much love from New Zealand.
"Your heart is full of eels!" sounds like a line from the Mr. Grinch song.
Do a video on eel eggs and spawning places. It's an interesting find.
The Pilotfish and Shark handshake got me with my guard down. Great Job
I love the fact you're using the Minecraft hit sound to show the fish losing health.
Lol greed effects the animals too
Ocean making things on land look tame😳
Whale: scratch me huuuman.
Human: aw it wants a selfie.
Whale: wtf no
So *that's* why Mr. Krabs and Plankton are archenemies.

Eels in the heart and no one to blame! Watop, you give science a good name!
Who needs school 🏫 when u have WATOP, I learn more from WATOP than I do from school, learning from home 🏠 is a great 😃👍 thing

Lol on the one hand... Like literally 😂
I love your narrating vibes
Sounds like a total eelclipse of the heart
The ocean crearures are amazing
I wanted to see the decapitated shark.
Someone baited me.
Your videos are amazingly interesting, and I love watching them, but they make me sad :(
Steve definitely passed ELA with a 100% 😭
I love your videos
The thumbnail! 😳🦈🙈
4:25
Is this what fronima looks like or did they make it look like the alien queen on purpose?! 😮

noice vid mate
It's not JUST about echolocation... Ears are more important than people realize. Humans use their ears for balance and direction, too.
No shit
Do you know how many time i watched your intro, had the urge to drink coffee, went to the kitchen to make some while watching your video😂😂😂

Gold and Silver Brothers (from naruto) backstory.
I like ur vids ur the best keep going
It sounds like an actual romantic quote:
"You make me feel eels in the heart ❤"
Fascinating and creepy 👍
So where's the thumbnail scene at?
What is like Eels in the heart got me man 😂 give that script writer an award
So many MINECRAFT effects so cool
Feels is actually a combination of "F" - respect and "Eels" so right in the FEELS
Man eel's in the heart must feel so terribly weird. It really does sound so eerie. Same with whale/dolphin louse/ bat louse too Ugh...
When I did seafood buying for the Davis Food Co-op, our chinooks would arrive with scale-shaped tick-like things between the scales.
Hey nice vid

7:40 cute shark fact
What I hate about this channel is the beginning makes me want a coffee
I'm watching from South Africa
Wooooh whats going on with the sharks their??? 🦈

Invasion of the body snatchers

7:20 happy looking shark
the barnacle caught me off guard
Nice keep up
First
I live on horror movies. Thus is waaaaaay worse especially the fact they are crossing to people and are morphing. Now my neck feels weird
Barnacles are like pimples for whales 🐋 😂😂
I swear those eels are why everything in the ocean lives with its ass clenched its entire life.
Fun fact:even though we are scared of sharks they are not harmful but we hunt sharks for fins
I learned more about marine life in this video than Natgeo and discovery Channel
snake eels are so metal
Salmon aquaculture also uses a cleaner fish called lumpsuckers to keep the sea lice from killing fish
Great I’m now itchy everywhere
Wow
What's with the beheaded shark on the screenshot?
Pilot fisch 🤣😄 Imagine a fisch in an airplane as pilot 😆
Swami Vivekanda in late 1800s mentioned about this behaviour of Pilot fish & Shark why their ship was stranded due to Quarantine.
Bro just casually explode your brain and then be like “later” 😮
The ocean is a weird place
For the Samon lice on the fish farms, they also use laser to kill the lice.
Eels in the heart have upset me, and I can't deal with it lol
Did I hear this correctly? 10:31 😂
I don't know about the Alien Queen but the original Alien was partly inspired by parasitic wasps.
Hi
Inviting slurping 👍
@10:32
Swimming with salmon and doing what? Lol
*plucking and eating sea lice*
Soo anolosma thing is kinda like a tumour?
Even sharks have cyco stalkers
Yeah, I’m good on seafood for a while 🤦🏽♀️……
Well aren't those dolfins lucky huh? I would like to make it difficult for lice to even keep their hold on to me.
11:57 hmmmmmm salmon eggs
So the barnacles don't bite the heads off sharks. Nice thumbnail.
Now i wonder *Ariel* have sea lices too? 😂😂😂
the fEELS in the heart LUL
Monster inside me the barnacle in the hand ☠️
It was wasps threat inspired the chest bursters. Not phronemia or whatever
I saw the original picture of hand with barnacle. It looked like peeled dead skin. Don’t understand why it needed to be pixilated
"Inside you there are two eels..."
05:45: _I wonder what it means to have eels in the heart._
So do I. In German, "butterflies in the stomach" have a meaning...
Germany isn’t the only place with that saying
