I too have cruised Norwegian fjords and they are the most beautiful places on earth. The 1st morning I woke I actually cried at the beauty when I pulled the curtains back. I agree with your friend Emily. Norway has a very similar look to Vancouver Island and other gulf islands. NCL looks nice, it had a so-so rep before but it seems to have improved. Em, you should come out to the west coast of Canada!🇨🇦

Thoroughly enjoyed this; I’ve always been reluctant to look into cruises because of feeling ship bound for too long but the interiors and amount of time on land had me checking out the NCL options while watching. I’m in Tromsø in November but am seriously considering this for Sep ‘24.
Glad you enjoyed it! As someone with really bad claustrophobia / cabin fever, I LOVE going on long walks etc, I didn't feel ship bound as we got off as soon as we docked and spent entire days out and about which was absolutely amazing! I would love to do their Bermuda one next or maybe even other places i haven't ticked off like I saw they do Antarctica which would be SO special! x
