Keith I think you should learn to play guitar. That would be the after dinner entertainment!

Guess you never watched my other fishing videos ..not as much luck. Ya that was a nice little spot

i dont know why these videos always depict sawing of wood. you're never allowed to do that when you go camping unless you are rich as fuck and own a forest. it's completely unrealistic.

Where do you live to? I guess there are different rules for different places around

@@riverspondsandcampfires usa. how can there be different rules? if everyone who went camping can chop down a branch, the whole forest would be destroyed in no time. it's only legal to use a branch that already fell down. i didnt look at your video closely but it seems you found way too many nice pieces of wood for it to be picked off of the ground.

In this area there was lots of driftwood around the water. I just picked it all up for the fire. Sometimes I chop down trees though. The Forest becomes healthier when you remove old trees that are blocking the sun and using the nutrients of the younger trees around. Often times trees grow too densely together to be healthy. I thin them out to rejuvenate the forest. A great way to promote healthy forests and new tree growth

@@DiamondhandsForever Love how confident you are while being completely and utterly clueless. In Canada, you can walk into the woods and cut down as much firewood as you like; you can even load up a truck and bring it home. Different provinces have different rules, but in every single one of them, you can do this. Here, for example, is a $25 yearly permit that anyone can get. But here is the thing, you wouldn't even want to cut down fresh wood while camping as it burns poorly. As to destroying forests. What a joke. You have no idea what that would take. Even in the US, where you have only a fraction of the available forest to population ratio as Canada, what you are saying is impossible.

Thanks for stating this. You are correct. I have family members who did extensive wood cutting in various areas for the past 30 years. I witnessed the regrowth of these woodland areas. New, healthy trees quickly emerged leaving a healthy young forest if you visited there now. It's not cutting trees that destroy forests, it's clear cutting and paving, building neighborhoods etc. These things of course are all needed. People like myself are simply getting outdoors, enjoying nature and using renewable resources in an active and healthy way for myself, the environment and others.
