Tafline April I also have dark brown eyes and if you make sure to blend it out (a lot but not muddy) and not go out TOO far, especially on the lower lashline, it looks so good! I do dark purple/brown smokey eyes when I go out on the weekends and this is how I found that it works for me. :)
This is eerily similar to what I'm planning for my Halloween makeup! I'm not going to do as warm of colors for the transition but I'm planning dark smokey eye (I'll probs do a little shimmer though) and a deep burgundy lip

Extremely random but it's a Sunday morning in NYC and it's 5:45 in the morning. I woke up an hour ago because I felt myself catching an anxiety attack. I tried putting on relaxing music and doing things that would distract me but nothing worked.. then I thought to myself, "What would REALLY relax you and keep you intrigued without having anxiety?!" & it's your channel lol.
