How can this not be collusion and proof that both are corrupt? Actual recording that says, you must be sneakier with your corruption and not do it in plain sight of a camera. Fuck this blue line shit. IA should never exist. Investigations should be by civilian boards and those boards should be frequently swapped out to prevent collusion/intimidation/manipulation of the people on the boards.

If you are talking to police and you wonder why they are standing almost too close or you notice their partners are standing at a 90 angle to you, it's because they are trying not to record the interaction on video. "Annoying and out of control" behavior by an UNARMED girl whose freedom has been taken, who feels its unjustified, is not at all unexpected human behavior and does not warrant a severe beating men 2x her age and weight who carry guns and tasers. It's as if these ofcs have no empathy training and take personally the girl's visceral actions of "fighting back" because she truly feels she has been wronged personally and again is likely in fight or flight. This ofc witness testimony is despicable and the whole interview is disturbing - there should be no levity here!!! Ofc who witnessed it says he doesn't think the ofc punching the woman in the stomach "even hurt her." My God, what has happened to this country. HOW CAN THIS GROWN MAN BE GIGGLING ABOUT AN ARMED MAN BEATING AN INCARCERATED WOMAN WHO IS PROBABLY IN FIGHT OR FLIGHT. NICE DE ESCALATION THERE (not). Once again, woefully inadequate training and profound lack of empathy. My heart hurts.

Higher education requirements (A 2.0 GPA, D+, and 16 weeks of training is all you need to be a police officer), Medical evaluation for Health and Steroid usage (steroids are known to increase irritability, anxiety and aggression and cause mood swings, with symptoms of paranoia and lack of emotion), psychological evaluations annually, term limited Civilian Oversight board

When the interviewer said, you just can’t do that in front of cameras that’s exactly what cop watches and auditors talk about daily. The attack on auditors and cop watches by law-enforcement to remove their cameras from them so that the illegal actions of lawn enforcement officers will not be recorded. It used to just be law enforcement, body worn cameras and their dash cams. Those cameras were deleted or altered. Either law-enforcement did not have any body worn cameras or dash cams or they would turn off volume on their body worn cameras, or they would blur out all the images so you could not tell who was who in the video. There go to mysteriously their body war cameras would fall off during during and instance were excessive force was used against a citizen. Without indisputable video that has audio the law-enforcement officers are believed in court, not the citizen. The judges will take the word of a law enforcement officer over a citizen, even a citizen who has never been in trouble with the law before has no criminal record. They will always accept the law-enforcement version of what happened over a citizen. The only way that an officers version is overruled is if there is an indisputable audio video of the incident. They are now trying to pass city ordinances and make executive orders to prevent auditors and cop watches from getting close enough to be able to record. They are declaring it as harassment if someone tries to record them with these new ordinances and executive orders. Before the new executive orders and ordinances law enforcement with claim that it was obstruction to arrive at a scene and film them and they would arrest individuals if they did not leave charging them with obstruction. Obstruction is a physical act, simply filming or talking does not obstruct anything. Law enforcement just does not want transparency when it comes to the way that they interact with citizens.

NO POLICE encounter ever benefits the taxpayer!
American taxpayers want peace, to grow old without seeing, hearing or meeting the enemy!

When, in the history of the world, has telling someone to "Calm down" resulted in them calming down?

I get she pissed him off and he reacted with a few punches into her stomach that’s not ok at all could be bad training and anger control or both but and I’m pleased he lost his job, but this experienced officer said it was to much and it shocked him that the young officer did what he did so it begs the question why not intervene this rookie punched a woman hard with police standing around doing nothing

After watching the video. What a stupid/smart cop. He was stupid because everything is recorded today especially in the sallyport. And he didn't hit her in the face did you notice that? All abd punches, less bruising. He knew what he was doing there.

    Another dirty cop.
Just think what could happen before cameras and body cams were mandatory.
Those cameras probably changed police behavior 100%!
The older cops seem to stick behind the blue shield of silence...
