Principle 1: The severity of Jesus’s suffering and sacrifice reveals the
seriousness of humanity’s sin.
Division 2: John 19:25-27. Jesus lovingly cared for His mother.
Principle 2: Jesus’s suffering reveals His compassion for sinners.
Division 3: John 19:28-30. Jesus declared His work finished and gave up His spirit.
Principle 3: Jesus died sacrificially so believers can live eternally.
