This song supports my approval of the monster within people. Instead of being afraid of it, people should learn to control it and use it when necessary. Everyone has it. They just need to be willing to use it.

I know a lot of their stuff isn't strictly christian, like this song for instance, but it amuses me when people don't realized that Skillet is christian.

+AJ Danischefsky it's a vocal effect that caused it in the video. You can not physically make a sound like that and all be discernable.

Um, hi. i really like this song and just skillet in general. I thought the animations of the words were awesome! I don't know why but when i hear this song I instantly feel like i can be myself, so i thank you for spreading the song :)
Guys, the reason there ISN'T a growl is because this is the original Radio version of Monster. :-O I compared it to the two Monsters on the Awake album (I have it), thus that is my conclusion. Now stop and listen to the amazing song.

I like it, this is one of my favorite Skillet songs close to Falling Into the Black, Forgiven, Whispers In the Dark, and Awake and Alive. I feel like the font of the lyrics fit the song :) Good job!! P.S. I like it with the growl ^-^ But it's still great!

There is actually saying in the bible that you go to hell if you are gay, cause 1 actually the only passage where they say it it was originally Greek and it got mixed up in translation, it was meant to mean that man could not go with boy, promoting that its not ok to go with somebody underage rather than promote that you can't be gay. Which Tanner Jordan's thin is also true because Christians have no right to judge others. First Skillet song I've heard and what I hear is Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin's band baby, except with a garage band feel. I like this song, it's just the rhymes are simple & kind of obvious: "within/skin", "control/radical", "walls/halls", etc. I mean, a little more creativity and flow would be nice. For example, in TDG--Animal I Have Become: "So many times I've tried, But I'm still caged inside"; it's very natural. A7x--Nightmare: "guest forever/ less than never". Both are subtle.

I knew 70% of their songs from amv's and movies , and i kept seeing those videos just to listen to the song , because i didn't know who's the artist , and when i was little i heard about skillet , but then later on , when i discovered that all those songs were theirs , i was so fucking happy ! I
Disappointment(noun)-When you read the comments of a BADASS song by one of the best songwriters in the world and find people hating the song because it isn't the version that they like! It's obvious this guy or girl tried REALLY hard to make this video the least you can do is make him or her feel good about it
I look at it not as an outside source tempting us but our struggle with ourselves and our own desired that are destructive; hence "I feel like a monster" not see monsters. But that's the great thing about art, everyone can have an opinion and non is more or less valid than another.
