For particularly safe driving, the Corolla Cross is equipped with T-Mate, the helpful driving partner. A whole range of systems provides you with reliable support: on the freeway, in the city or when parking, you are always in safe hands with the T-Mate. The list below shows just a few highlights. The complete T-Mate functions for the Corolla Cross can be found in the vehicle configurator.
The pre-collision system recognizes and avoids possible collisions with other cars, motorcycles, cyclists and pedestrians. It warns the driver with acoustic and visual signals and supports him when braking. If he does not step on the brake pedal in time, the brakes intervene automatically to prevent or mitigate a collision. In addition, the intersection and emergency steering assistants provide support during the day when turning safely at intersections and during evasive manoeuvres.
If the system does not register any action by the driver for a certain period of time, it warns him with an acoustic signal. If there is no reaction, the vehicle automatically slows down and stops without leaving the lane. The system activates the hazard warning lights and unlocks the doors to facilitate access for emergency services if necessary.
This system maintains a constant preset minimum distance from the vehicle in front. If this distance is not reached, it reduces the speed, finally applies the brakes and activates the brake lights. If your vehicle is equipped with Traffic Sign Recognition (RSA), the system also recognizes current speed limits and suggests adjustments if necessary.
The system warns the driver with a signal on the digital combination display if passengers or objects are left in the rear seat. Depending on the model, it also activates the hazard warning lights and a warning tone when the driver gets out and locks the doors.
The system uses the blind spot monitor radar. It warns the driver of a possible collision between cars or cyclists coming from behind, with an open door or with passengers getting out. If the system registers a risk of collision, a warning light lights up in the exterior mirror and a message appears in the multi-information display. In addition, an acoustic signal warns the occupants.
Toyota Smart Connect, the superior premium connectivity package, offers you cloud-based navigation, voice recognition, real-time traffic information and alerts you to events on your route. They reach their destination on time because intelligent multimedia does the demanding work.
The new 8" multimedia touchscreen gives you access to all important information with just one touch. The MyT app takes care of the rest - from locating your vehicle to tips on the best driving style.

A very nice video! Especially the preview video of C-HR GR from Frey dealership!
Fuel consumption is very good. But I believe that you can achieve lower fuel consumption. The car "teach" the driver how to take full advantage of the hybrid system. It just needs time and practice.
My average is 3.4-3.6L/100Km (city driving - Normal mode) with a C-HR 1.8cc.
I've also noticed that the tire pressure warning light was on!

Great video! I love these consumption videos! I think the problem with the consumption was that the battery was at 0% when you started the drive and at the first red light the engine was going all the time. So the consumption was at the start about 50L/100km. I think if you had started with half of the battery full, the consumption would be maybe 0.5-1L/100km lower 😊

Car's computer protects the hybrid system & does not allow the battery to drop to 0%. When battery is low (~3 "bars"), the engine starts to recharge it.

I think it's around expected real life consumption. Maybe even bit bellow what I would expect.

Not as good as my Mazda 3 e skyactiv x, who needs a hybrid, it's a shame here in the UK that an engine like the Mazda's won't be allowed to be sold new after 2030.
