Gotta say thanks for showing the reality that even the best machines can false on iron. Some of my friends with significantly cheaper machines get so down when they dig an iron false signal, it's good to see the most expensive can do the same
Every video you make is great and the finds make my day, been detecting for over 15 years myself but due to bad health at the moment can’t get out much, so your are detecting for me too
I’ve had many a battle with the manticore and it wins 99% it just knows .. if we actually paid attention on what it’s telling us , we’d actually go home with no scrap no flat batteries on our pointers & no mud everywhere!
Hi Dan from a fellow Norfolk detectorist. Watching your roman field for oyster shells but can't see any. Always been a good indicator for a roman residential site for me in the past. Great video, loved it 😊
I think my roman field was more of a market place, and a place for gathering water. Hence all the money and pottery 👍. Although there are some oyster shells on there 😉
Always look forward to your videos Dan and you never disappoint mate, some lovely finds once again, well done 👍
Hope you're on the mend! Great finds, lovely ring. Someone would have been very sad to have lost that i'm sure.
