I've been looking for an alternative to CSP, seems like vector editing was an after thought on it, I really had to go out of my way to mod it just to quickly add & subtract vertices.

I agree! In terms of vector editing, sculpt mode and edit mode in Blender offers so much

@@musubi-bi I was introduced to vector software around 2007, & there are just standard tools to help shape a line I just expect in any vector application, there just not in CSP. It's like having a paint program without the eyedropper, select tool, or fill bucket, you just expect them to be in there.
Now I'm still new to drawing in blender & need to relearn how to sketch in it, sadly I've grown accustomed to sketching with the paint brush tool, I definitely cant do that in blender.

thank you so much for making these videos, especially since there arent many vids now that can talk more about the grease pencil in blender. I am having a hard time figuring out why my grease pencil in general is lagging, even when i want to erase something it is much slower than it would on photoshop/adobe animate. I did play around with the brush settings, I also have a problem with whenever i make a stroke it leaves a splotchy result, its not jiggering, the stroke itself is smooth, but the stroke end is messy. I am using an intel i7 samsung laptop, and I am starting to think that the problem may be is that my computer isnt strong enough. Do you think its my computer that is the problem, or is the problem more with the set up?

Hey Stefanie! I mostly use Blender on a desktop computer. If you have an older laptop it might limit your ability to use it, mainly because graphics cards and or your RAM memory is usually smaller in laptops. You might want to check the Blender requirements. The processor is just one component of the computer, but usually the graphics card is the deciding factor whether you can use 3D rendering software if you are lagging. If it is not lagging and the stroke is just splotchy at the end, you might want to look at the advanced tab of the Stroke to adjust your angle as shown in this tutorial video. Hope this information helps! www.blender.org/download/requirements/
