Miranda Johnson was worried how Danny would hold up to Chris, but hearing him he’s just as good as Chris ever was. He has his own was of singing that’s different from Chris’ but it works so well
He'll always be compared to him. the old vocalist was what made these guys imo I loved how he almost had a chester bennington type clean vocal and I was so sad to see him leave. New guy is great in his own way but even with only 1 major release this band sorta has already run into a Three Days Grace type situation....amazing vocalists in their own right but will be compared against each other for a while
It’s not quite a Three Days Grace type of situation because with that band there was a lot of criticism because the reason for Adam Gontier leaving was controversial for both sides. Not only that but their replacement for Adam Gontier (Matt Walst) and what the band has done with their music since his departure has pretty much changed what the band sounds like in it’s entirety. In this case,Chris Musser left on good terms with the band and they found an excellent replacement in Danny Case. It still has the great From Ashes To New sound,and Danny Case fits right in with Matt Brandyberry on their songs. Not only that but with only one album released the fans haven’t truly “grown” with the band yet and that will help us move on from Chris Musser too. We’ll be identifying the band by Danny Case’s voice more than Chris Musser‘s in a few years.

Jason Hook Yeah I really like his rap on this. I don't know if I would say it's better, but it's different and new. Have you heard the snippet with Matt's rapping, on their channel? His flow is pure fire in that one. I can't wait to hear that song, well I can't wait to hear the full album hahah.
