Men who are insecure about their masculinity tend to be very defensive about it, to their own detriment. But self reflection is considered 'feminine', and it being about turning inward and feeling emotion definitely aligns with the feminine polarity. A lot of dudes are either resistant to doing this work or were never taught. Or think they can bypass it. It's actually a very interesting example of how having one without the other can limit your growth! On the other hand, being too passive and never defending yourself, even when you're in actual trouble/being taken advantage of, is how the unbalanced feminine often goes awry. Clearly, for example, Aaron is very much physically iconically masculine with the body builder background and physique, that masculine face, jawline, beard that is very masculine and for a guy with those physical attributes able to be whole and balanced, is delightful. My favorite men are those who are so grounded that they aren’t jacked up, for example, when gay males admire them. They can laugh and go with it, be playful, never threatened nor needing to feign horror. I dislike it, and it makes me very uncomfortable. It's no different than females feeling uncomfortable being "admired" by random straight males out in public, but society react to that differently. Thank you for guiding me towards the image of what a true holy partner (and man, in general) should look like. Many of those characteristics do resonate with me and, as a survivor of abuse since childhood, I didn’t experience the best examples of healthy love (which has been absolutely projected on my “toxic” “situationships” 😆). Saying “No” and moving on to better things really does feel empowering. I hadn’t felt this calm and self-assured on my own for years. It almost gets my feminine all emotional 🥲 I had been in pain for months after a break up, waiting for him to suddenly pop back up in my life because he never actually said that he didn’t want to be in it, but he hasn’t even bother to tell me either: “Hey, don’t make yourself suffer for me, I’m not interested anymore, but I thank you and wish you the best”. Rather than that, he has chosen to silently walk away as if I was a smoked cigarette butt on the ground. Which triggered me in all the right places! Until I started watching this video and I said to myself: “Is someone like that really worth waiting for and building a life together?” alongside of: “What if what I’ve been doing is stay stuck in the feeling stage of the feminine energy, without using my own masculine to TAKE ACTION, say NO to prolonging something that doesn’t even feel like the shiny real me and just. Move. On.?” All the support, comfort and validation that I had been holding on to with him so desperately! were already within me, with the act walking away and towards better things I know I deserve. I am not an used cigarette. I am not those insecurities and the desperation. And I am not a solitary princess waiting in her tower for a frog. I am a badass and awakened woman who invest SO MUCH love and SO GOOD, yet on the wrong people... It’s a matter of changing the perspective :) Thank you 💚

Even though I am gay, let me make it clear that I am not talking about sexual orientation, as I also understood that you two were talking about energy. I am planning to explore more deeply your excellent points. So here is my understanding of the function of these two energies. Masculine energy is FOCUSED. Feminine energy is more DISPERSED. A Human with very high masculine energy, regardless of gender tends to be so focused in his daily activities that he/she would be lost if they had to take care of a toddler, cook and answer the door bell, simultaneously. A Human with a higher percentage of feminine energy, would be very efficient, dealing with the above situation. So that's what I mean by “disperse”. To be able to take care of several pressure tasks like its no big deal. Thank you for your great jobs. I shall incorporate your teachings onto my teach/learn.

I think the only problem I have with a lot of these new philosophies which are so rich and so valid is that it negates autonomy, the unique special snowflake aspect of it. I guess I say this because, we should take a pause maybe before looking at someone as merely a reflection and our relationships as merely only to serve the purpose of evolution. Sometimes our relationships are just relationships. But we add the meaning of having it serve our evolution, this might rob it of especially uniqueness that comes about in human relationships when people stick it out together

Hi! Can you guys expand on the twin flame concept a bit deeper and debunk commonly believed concepts of it in favor of what the twin flame dynamic truly is? Do we all engage in a twin flame journey? Is it truly a "rare" dynamic? Is this just a name synonymous with soulmate or is there actually a difference between them? Does it not actually fit with the masculine/feminine dance and why?
I like the concepts ying and yang so much more than the other words like positive or negative etc. To be decisive grounded we need to not keep all options open, we need to close the other options. I think myself as way too ying am keeping options open and that is why i am not decisive or grounded, i wonder if that is a problem that others have as well. Its my right brainhemisphere doesnthave to chose it can have cakes eat them and still have the cakes, but that is not reality. Like a computer keeping all the tabs open and everytime just open an extra one without ever closing the projects jogling all projects attge same time n my mind is killing my manifestation and focus and grounded decisiveness. And when i discuss things with a man its as if his yang energy can just close the other projects . Somehow i only see women do this and men are pragmatic and once they chose one thing they stick to it. They dont go “what if”. I see man do one big thing at the same time and women joggle 10 little things . And this is not teaching us to choose, when we do want to do one big project we are not accustumed to choose and focus on one thing, and that feels like a very ying thing to do to me but when overusing this talent it becomes a downfall.

Minute 23.00 "the moment I sacrifice" I agree that no one should do things out of sacrifice, but someone that is suffering will not always be able to admit they need help or they need you to be there with them. Being there with them not with a "problem solver" posture - which often the "masculine" can try to do when trying to help? - but just being there holding each other or in silence can be better and can require less energy from the "masculine", which can help them feel less drain from giving support in these moments. Being there even if in silence can still require the "sacrifice" of not doing the other things you wanted to do. If one experiences such moments as "sacrifice", then they really shouldn't do it or resentment towards the suffering partner can follow or accumulate. But at some point I think one can reflect on how experimenting with abdicating (temporarily) from the things you want to do to just sit there with your partner, can be quite the expansion in your capacity to love. That is not the same as "teaching the other that they have to do the same thing for you, give up on their things, because they are responsible for your healing". It's a choice whether you want to expand your capacity to love others or love yourself. Neither is wrong!! I don't say the above with judgement, always be honest with yourself above all. But sometimes I feel the need to question my boundaries of love, not just self-love. Sometimes we might not want to stay with the suffering partner because we can struggle to stay grounded in our own energy, as their state might be triggering (= we cannot stand ourselves when we are in such state perhaps). So maybe we are not choosing passion more than we are choosing to avoid a discomfort. In moments of pain, people are often not in a position to love themselves and ask for what they need. You may ask that they grow out of it and start asking for help, and while most can understand this, in practice sometimes it just doesn't come through. I just ask myself and answer honestly - no guilt - do I have genuine capacity and willingness to help, and what "help" looks like in the moment, as something good for the both of us. From life experience I would say that there is something else that a man can say to a female that is asking that if they truly are in the moment of knowing that that’s what they want with that person then possibly they could say yes this is what I want forever and how can I help us to continue to feel good in that space. To say to partner whether it’s female or male or masculine or feminine this is what we got right now it’s all cool and yeah I get it but really, obviously other things can happen but it’s OK to reassure someone and their moment. I had been in pain for months after a break up, waiting for him to suddenly pop back up in my life because he never actually said that he didn’t want to be in it, but he hasn’t even bother to tell me either: “Hey, don’t make yourself suffer for me, I’m not interested anymore, but I thank you and wish you the best”. Rather than that, he has chosen to silently walk away as if I was a smoked cigarette butt on the ground. Which triggered me in all the right places!
Until I started watching this video and I said to myself: “Is someone like that really worth waiting for and building a life together?” alongside of: “What if what I’ve been doing is stay stuck in the feeling stage of the feminine energy, without using my own masculine to TAKE ACTION, say NO to prolonging something that doesn’t even feel like the shiny real me and just. Move. On.?”
All the support, comfort and validation that I had been holding on to with him so desperately! were already within me, with the act walking away and towards better things I know I deserve.
I am not an used cigarette. I am not those insecurities and the desperation. And I am not a solitary princess waiting in her tower for a frog. I am a badass and awakened woman who invest SO MUCH love and SO GOOD, yet on the wrong people...

Hi Aaron & Brandon. I am a “Michael's teachings “ teacher/student”. I enjoyed listening to this presentation regarding masculine/feminine energy. I am (roughly) 55% masculine and 45% feminine. Even though I am gay, let me make it clear that I am not talking about sexual orientation, as I also understood that you two were talking about energy. I am planning to explore more deeply your excellent points. So here is my understanding of the function of these two energies. Masculine energy is FOCUSED. Feminine energy is more DISPERSED. A Human with very high masculine energy, regardless of gender tends to be so focused in his daily activities that he/she would be lost if they had to take care of a toddler, cook and answer the door bell, simultaneously. A Human with a higher percentage of feminine energy, would be very efficient, dealing with the above situation. So that's what I mean by “disperse”. To be able to take care of several pressure tasks like its no big deal. Thank you for your great jobs. I shall incorporate your teachings onto my teach/learn.

Even if the whole world thinks your wrong or not doing what "they" want. Just as you said it was more for them than for yourself. Your body /self was saying no, when your was brain saying yes, to "belong". It's crazy how even when I explain why I don't drink they don't want to feel like "the bad guy" or that somehow I'm judging them.🤷🏼 Which is also where the ego gets tricky and tries to create those exact judgemental thoughts.

I think the only problem I have with a lot of these new philosophies which are so rich and so valid is that it negates autonomy, the unique special snowflake aspect of it. I guess I say this because, we should take a pause maybe before looking at someone as merely a reflection and our relationships as merely only to serve the purpose of evolution. Sometimes our relationships are just relationships. But we add the meaning of having it serve our evolution, this might rob it of especially uniqueness that comes about in human relationships when people stick it out together

Hi! Can you guys expand on the twin flame concept a bit deeper and debunk commonly believed concepts of it in favor of what the twin flame dynamic truly is? Do we all engage in a twin flame journey? Is it truly a "rare" dynamic? Is this just a name synonymous with soulmate or is there actually a difference between them? Does it not actually fit with the masculine/feminine dance and why?
I like the concepts ying and yang so much more than the other words like positive or negative etc.
To be decisive grounded we need to not keep all options open, we need to close the other options. I think myself as way too ying am keeping options open and that is why i am not decisive or grounded, i wonder if that is a problem that others have as well. Its my right brainhemisphere doesnthave to chose it can have cakes eat them and still have the cakes, but that is not reality. Like a computer keeping all the tabs open and everytime just open an extra one without ever closing the projects jogling all projects attge same time n my mind is killing my manifestation and focus and grounded decisiveness. And when i discuss things with a man its as if his yang energy can just close the other projects . Somehow i only see women do this and men are pragmatic and once they chose one thing they stick to it. They dont go “what if”. I see man do one big thing at the same time and women joggle 10 little things . And this is not teaching us to choose, when we do want to do one big project we are not accustumed to choose and focus on one thing, and that feels like a very ying thing to do to me but when overusing this talent it becomes a downfall.

Minute 23.00 "the moment I sacrifice"
I agree that no one should do things out of sacrifice, but someone that is suffering will not always be able to admit they need help or they need you to be there with them. Being there with them not with a "problem solver" posture - which often the "masculine" can try to do when trying to help? - but just being there holding each other or in silence can be better and can require less energy from the "masculine", which can help them feel less drain from giving support in these moments. Being there even if in silence can still require the "sacrifice" of not doing the other things you wanted to do. If one experiences such moments as "sacrifice", then they really shouldn't do it or resentment towards the suffering partner can follow or accumulate. But at some point I think one can reflect on how experimenting with abdicating (temporarily) from the things you want to do to just sit there with your partner, can be quite the expansion in your capacity to love. That is not the same as "teaching the other that they have to do the same thing for you, give up on their things, because they are responsible for your healing". It's a choice whether you want to expand your capacity to love others or love yourself. Neither is wrong!!
I don't say the above with judgement, always be honest with yourself above all. But sometimes I feel the need to question my boundaries of love, not just self-love. Sometimes we might not want to stay with the suffering partner because we can struggle to stay grounded in our own energy, as their state might be triggering (= we cannot stand ourselves when we are in such state perhaps). So maybe we are not choosing passion more than we are choosing to avoid a discomfort. In moments of pain, people are often not in a position to love themselves and ask for what they need. You may ask that they grow out of it and start asking for help, and while most can understand this, in practice sometimes it just doesn't come through. I just ask myself and answer honestly - no guilt - do I have genuine capacity and willingness to help, and what "help" looks like in the moment, as something good for the both of us.

From life experience I would say that there is something else that a man can say to a female that is asking that if they truly are in the moment of knowing that that’s what they want with that person then possibly they could say yes this is what I want forever and how can I help us to continue to feel good in that space. To say to partner whether it’s female or male or masculine or feminine this is what we got right now it’s all cool and yeah I get it but really, obviously other things can happen but it’s OK to reassure someone and their moment. There’s some thing to this. Okay an art but no. Sorry I think more clarification on what they’re actually asking for would be more appropriate. I am more a masculine energy because what you describe as such I recognize myself in. I'm not romantic and widely opened to be loved as you describe the feminine. I am the two energies anyway but more prominent masculine. That's why I am always attracted by men who have a prominent feminine energy. For a soul's no gender but the body makes It so we are both men and women those two energies.
