I think the biggest thing the audience isn’t connecting with this season is that the girls seem highly calculated and disingenuous. The majority of the women on the season were beauty queens and Instagram influencers. While there is nothing inherently wrong with either one of those things, this show is too large of a platform for the audience not to be suspicious of their intentions.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand why that’s so taboo to say. White lives matter, black lives matter, yellow lives matter. All lives matter. It shouldn’t be taboo to say that people’s lives matter. And this was a fishing company, like he said. I highly doubt anything controversial was intended. Maybe it’s just me being naive, maybe it’s just me not giving a shit about offending people or being offended, but I mean c’mon. Everybody needs to take a chill pill.
justin f it’s controversial because a big protest is black lives matter and a lot of white people were saying white lives matter basically as a protest to another protest. Black lives matter does not mean that nobody else’s life matters. It’s a protest to police brutality against black people.

I did think the same until this interview. He said that his front runner didn't change from about week four. Madison had no real air time that week. Kelsey had her one on one date that week and every interaction he has had with her after week four have been positive and reassuring.
So happy he can see Sydney's bad side. Anyone that laughs during a heated convo is scary. She was getting mad at Tammy and making fun of her all at once. Pure evil.

Just because on the show we can see and everything is transparent, doesn't mean that IRL it could be different and exceptions can be made. That being said, I have a gut feeling that he's not with Hannah - it seems to obvious a narrative from the way the previews were set up.

Honestly peter doesn’t know how to handle these situations so I feel a lot of remorse for him because he’s too sweet. The casting team is the real villain, making him feel guilty for this drama over spoiled brats.

I think the drama is indicative of our society's decaying morals and integrity. Also, there is way too much showing of previews. This show has lost it's appeal for me now.

Bismillah Rabbani I agree. These women are young and I have seen all of these traits in my peers. It is the norm. Truth is only perceived and what you can prove. Which is bullshit. I heard on NPR that kids who were bullies grow up to be the most successful people, because they know how to be assertive (bullying other kids) and other qualities. There are other studies that show bullies are most likely to be teachers pets and held in high esteem by adults in their life. But adults could be replaced by anyone they deem as needing approval from later in life, in my opinion. I imagine this gives them this bravado because of the positive reenforcement they receive. What they do is mature, what they do is right, what they do determines another’s inherent value. It is really messed up. They are cheating life. But eventually their world has a limited ceiling because they can only operate within those boundaries. Or they have confrontations where people call them on THE truth, but they try and deflect with their previously learned and rewarded behavior... deny, make the other person feel small, hide in a group think mentality or whatever tactic they use. I would bet money that Sydney still won’t own up to it all at the tell all. I bet once she realizes how much they caught of her mean spiritedness she plays the, ‘Oh, I learned from that. I’ve changed.’ To cheat the consequences. Or say the that is my truth to cheat the consequences in another way. What you said was perfect. Personally, my favorites are Madison and Kelley.

I question if Peter knows what he wants. It is apparent that he wants stability and a loving woman. However, he lets his animal nature lead and blind him to Victoria F and Hannah Ann.

Samantha Smiles I loved how in this last episode he was with Madison and there was drama and yelling at the house and he didn’t care.
The fact that he said his front runner didn’t change after week 4 means it’s was someone he had a one-on-one with by then. If you put that together with that he said he knew he would be OK despite how many dramatic women were in the house when she asked about Madison... really narrows it down to Madison or Kelly (since they kind of had a pre-show one-on-one).

The show and Chris Harrison share the narration and responsibility of The Bachelor and the resulting "Hate and drama" that comes with it. If this continues and doesn't start steering toward mature, respectful, and romantic shows in the future....I'm done. It paints the negative stereotype that years of women have tried to dispel, and we need better role models for young women. The world and entertainment needs a break from negativity. We need better examples of how healthy relationships and respectful communication and self-discipline can work.

They used the phrase "White Lives Matter" and Confederate flags in their marlin campaign. That is enough context to make it problematic. I know Confederate flags are very much alive in the South (why?), but that paired with the phrasing gives a dark and racist connotation to the photos.

Ok so he just said basically that he picks Maddie!!😁 I mean, He said that he knew what the end goal was the whole time and He's happy and that was his answer about the drama and how He had to deal with that and he answered that after talking about how Maddie didn't make any drama with the girls or him and so him saying that right after, hes definitely saying he had to deal with drama for the show but knew the end goal was to have someone like Maddie is basically what He's saying so I guess I was right frm the beginning that he ends up with Maddie.❤ and I think the drama has to do with the fact that she's saving herself for marriage and faith and saving herself is huge and she didn't wanna end up with him if he slept with someone in the fantasy suit before picking her, so I think he does slp with someone and then maybe she leaves and either comes back or he goes after her. What do u guys think!?? Do u think that happens or something else?
