When diecutting betterpress images, could I use a piece of cardstock between the pressed image and the top plate to reduce or prevent the markings from the marked plate from transferring to my pressed image? In that way any marking would transfer to the protective cardstock cover and not the pressed image. This would be for instances in which there is no backup unmarked cutting plate.
My die cut machine leaves marks on both top and bottom plates when cutting, is this supposed to happen? Because i dont see how you keep one plate mark free if so.

Yes, they are a unique thickness and material for this system. We are looking at semi-custom or custom plates for future product considerations but do not have any this time. You must only use the BetterPress plates.
Watercolor paints and pens. It is important to also consider the ink we use is a Ranger Archival base so products that are typically compatible with that ink work well.

Cutting marks from the blade edge are perfectly normal. It does not impact the performance of the system at all.
@@spellbinders but I'm talking about marks from the non-blade edge....I get marks on both top and bottom plates.
