Great instrument to "ramble" about. Sometimes, things are so delightful that we struggle for adequate words to show our pleasure. I like this uke, and the few characteristics that show it was an artist's creation and not a robotic clone is all the better.
That looks a beauty; simplicity of looks and no abalone! Really like the herringbone rosette around the sound hole, just like on the early Noahs. Tone is a real ear tickler, love it!
Sorry all about the stuttering imagery in parts of the video - same setup same camera - no changes in settings - not sure what's cause it.
No worries. I didn’t find it to be distressing. It could be UA-cam, not you.
Spectacular!
What a way to start the day! ✌🏼❤️
Thanks Baz, sounds really nice. Like the head and tuners. Really nice picked. Have a good week
Great review, Baz. This uke is a beauty and it sounds wonderful. The price is very reasonable, also! a winner for sure!
Great review…..looks like I will be acquiring my second uke on your recommendation.
Many thanks.
It’s a great hobby.
Many thanks for a very good review ❤
I like the look of it, I love the wonderful sound of it, and I'm happy for the maker have the good taste to have a dot on the third fret. Few of my ukes have it 😥
This uke will be in my shoping list for sure 😃
I'm getting video jumps too. I love the instrument.
Thanks Baz, Great review as always, I got my last 2 Noah's after your reviews, Monkey Pod Tenor & Matt's Super Tenor, so maybe one of these will end up in my Noah collation.
I recently bought a Noah tenor monkeypod. It’s awesome and sounds beautiful. I will be getting more Noah’s in future
Brilliant, sounds and looks great, amazing price, expecting you to say double that.
Great price for a handmade uke. It looks sharp and sounds nice once you get over expecting a tenor sound. Great review! (Despite the occasional choppy video) 😉
Really impressive for the price point. I knew you'd like it when I heard the intro music go up. I getting some irregular flashing on the video from time to time incidentally.
Yep - sorry Andy - not sure what cause is - no settings change this and end think UA-cam changed something
This is a beautiful ukulele. I really like its overall look. It looks well made and put together overall. Aquila strings are excellent but I find so many players that just change them to fluorocarbon that I wish they would come like that. I just picked up an Ohana 35 and put Martin 600’s on it with a great set up by Mim’s. It is a beautiful sounding instrument out of the box. Oh well strings are personal aren’t they…. Nice sound on this one as well. Again I would change strings but as is I still like it. … great review…. As always..DOC
If I hadn't just picked up a Tahitian ukulele (you'll see it on my Instagram and a review on your facebook) I'd have peeked at Noah after this. Vietnam's luthier ability has been nice
Hi Bazz, i'm sorry if this query is out of place. But I ws wondering if you could do a review of the Kala Exotic Mahogany Travel Concert Uke, and also the Ohana Slimline Concert Uke?
Will see if I can get hold of them - but I am booked months in advance now - I did review an Ohana slimline though years back
Wow, fantastic uke!
Apologies for beating this horse...Are you having issues with your editing software? Seems like there are individual frames coming from one of your cameras while you show the other. Or maybe it's a framerate mismatch between cameras during recording? Maybe artifacts from a previous edit if you don't starts each video timeline fresh? Just some off the wall suggestions from someone with almost zero editing experience, hope you don't mind.
Yep - see other comments - nothing changed this end, but not sure why the issue crept in. Wondering if UA-cam changed something with codecs
That seems a great instrument for the price. May I ask what video editor you are using? It might make sense to render into a different format since UA-cam is making a pig's ear of the format that you are using.
Final Cut Pro - same as every single week since day 1 - no settings changed at all - exactly same and same equipment
@@GotAUkulele A good package! Are you rendering to MP4 or some other format? It has to be a codec issue on the UA-cam side.
@@GotAUkulele I have never had problems with UA-cam and .mov but they do recommend MP4 so I guess that is the one that they test the most.
Seems like something changed in the last week - nothing at my end though. Looking into it
Is this the same as the "Noah Campanella"?
@@GotAUkulele Thanks....I was looking at their Campanella a few months back, and this looks like a really great option too. Thanks for the review!
Barry, the audio on this review is great, but (on my end, at least) there is quite a bit of video skipping going on at the top of the review.
Same
Yep - did it last week before - can't quite pin down the issue
Can you give me a time stamp - as not seeing it my end?
Found it - no idea what the issue is - same settings, same camera, same software, same everything!
Seems to be where it goes to second camera
Baz, mine is at 1:10
