That flat (just the top) pumpkin was OUTSTANDING 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’m OBSESSED with that…. I got a cute little jigsaw for Mother’s Day last year just never use it now I have a reason I’m 100000 % recreating that!! I feel like you could do a BUNCH of like different sizes and not do any words just kind of stick em throughout your yard or in your home 🤷🏻♀️

I'm in the process of making the pillow (s) however I'm questioning why you used felt instead of your usual cotton batting for the thickness? Thinking you might have a reason? Hoping the batting will work just as well. Thank you for being you and sharing inspiration in so many ways. Excited to see your number of subscribers grow and grow!

I appreciate it so much! 😊 sooooo, the felt vs batting….plain and simple…it was on top of the pile! 😜 beside my craft desk I have a tall fabric laundry basket with handles that I keep the current season fabric in and as I’m pulling it out and I dig through, and then put it back…sometimes the batting is closer to the top and sometimes the felt is. LOL. It’s a very systematic system. 😂 either should would just fine! Beyond that conversation…I’m betting your pillow(s) will be beautiful! But don’t make too many until you see my next designs this coming Saturday! It’s a video full of fun Fall pillow dupes! I can’t help it…I’m a sucker for Fall and Christmas pillows! Hugsies!!! P.S. I love everything…. Probably the last pumpkin the best! I wish I could afford a laser cutter….on my wish list! I am watching your tutorial as I keep an eye on my Cricut Maker cutting some wonky hearts from basswood with the knife blade …. First time using it …. I make resource adjustments to the projects you show us as needed- lol❤. Thank your for your heart inspiration at the conclusion 😊

@@LindasDIYbyDesign The Cricut Maker with the Knife Blade cut out the words (Welcome Autumn and some leaves, hearts and stars) really well. Design Space said that it needed 14 passes to do the cuts but I found that after 9 passes it was cut through. Glad I tried it. Looking forward to doing a few more. Thank you for your inspiration.❤️

I have to say when you cut the pumpkin out side, the slippers, I have those and I’m always wearing them cutting wood😂. I never realized that you didn’t cut the strings you come to the end of sewing on paper etc. I’m going to stop cutting as I love your look.

Hi Linda, i love all your creations, you never disappoint. i downloaded your files however i was hoping to convert into SVG files ( the sayings ) and cut it in design space however it comes up black, Do you have any suggestions? i already have the pumpkins cut, i just need to be able to cut out the file. Hey Mona! I don’t know how to combat that….that’s what happened to me when I started trying to make the files for you all and I could never figure out why, when I try to convert the files to SVG it would be black…I use a file converter online….all I could figure was maybe it’s because I’m doing it from an iPad? I create my designs in Cricut DS and then save them to my iPad to convert them to PDF and PNG. I’ve tried to upload into Canva and save as SVG, but I only use the free version, so it wouldn’t let me. Do you have Canva? If you do and it’s the paid version, you could upload the PNG into the program and save as an SVG. For now, the PNG file seems to work well, you just have to clean the background and in between letters and such. I know, with a SVG you get to skip that part 😜. I’m sorry, but it’s all I can figure out for now. Many blessings!
I had to laugh, I wondered how many people asked what is a kilt pin? Haha. My mother was an accomplished seamstress. When I was in grade school all of my clothes were handmade and she always dressed me in plaid kilts and it always had a kilt pin. I wish I still had some of my clothes that she made. I wasn't allowed a toy sewing machine. I was put in front of the sewing machine as soon as I could reach the pedal.
You know, Gale, I thought that when I said Kilt pin….will people know what it is? 😉 I, too, had my mom make my clothes in the 70’s when I was a kid and I wasn’t allowed to touch her machine….until one day she decided to teach me how to use it! I was crafting from then on! Hugsies! 😊
When you give everything up and let god take control, how do know what he is telling you to do?
That is a wonderful question Kimberly! I guess I would say, that God never pushes. He leads. If a situation arises that you don’t feel good about or it seems wrong or things just don’t add up, I think that is the enemy trying to throw a curve ball. With God and how He leads, you should always feel peace with decisions you make…never troubled or aggravated. When God guides it will always line up with His Word. Now He May lead you in a direction you don’t like, but you should never feel like you’ll be hurt by it or wronged in any way. God doesn’t work that way. Also, if you are unsure how to move in a direction, God provides many avenues to show you the way. Obviously the first way is His Word. Sometimes you are waiting for an answer and you are reading the Bible and all of a sudden a scripture jumps out at you and provides you with an answer. Sometimes, God gives guidance from friends, loved ones, people in church….if you feel comfortable with asking for advice from another Christian….they can talk with you, pray with you and they may feel that God is giving them some way of guidance for you as they share with you…again..with any of these you feel peace and it always lines up with His word. Sometimes when He answers you personally, it kinda feels like that 6th sense. Like how in life….you know right from wrong…you just know…that’s how God can whisper to you as well. You just know it’s the right or wrong way to move. If it’s the wrong way, your spirit feels anxiety…and not in a good way. It just doesn’t sit right. If you feel peace about it and it sits right….it’s peaceful…that God whispering to your soul. I hope this is understandable. I hope this helps! Linda, the Lord must have sent me to you today. I know the Lord can help me. I spent about 15 years single and happy. Wasn't looking for anyone. A Christian man came into my life and I allowed myself to believe God sent him. Our beliefs align, and we have a crazy amount of things in common. He seemed perfect. After several months of dating, I allowed myself to fall for him. He is unlike anyone I ever met and I fell so hard. He suddenly wanted a break. I reluctantly took him back, because even though I loved him I didn't want hurt. A week later, he says I can't live without you and I'm physically sick without you in my life. Let's date again. 2 months ago he says I want a break. He text, I'm selfish and I am sorry. Well I'm done. It's no life if he wants a break every few months. Odd. He texted me, I don't love you. He has spent months telling me how I'm loved, we go to church together. I'm still stunned. Shocked. I love him and I've struggled to let go. I have no answers for why. Nothing. I prayed in the beginning of he isn't right for me I wanted God to move him. I'm having a hard time learning to not love him. We had fun all the time and I don't understand how a man loves you one day and is so positive about our future. Then he is pulling the I need a break again. I'm no yo yo. God can mend my heart I know. You had all the right words I needed to hear. I'm fine as long as I'm really busy. When I get still, I fall apart. Thank you Charlotte! Oh my gosh, it’s hard to determine why something like this happens. I just can’t help but feel that this gentleman has a commitment issue, but he wants to be with you and not lose you. Forgive me for saying anything, it’s not my place and I certainly am no expert. But you love God, you know Him and He allowed this path for some reason. You may not know or understand now, but it always seems a few years later after you go,through something…God finally reveals the “ah-ha” moment. Perhaps it was to get you to have more faith as you trust God for guidance. I don’t know…but as you and I both know….God loves you and He is with you and He WILL get you through this.
Jesus, I just pray right now for Charlotte that you would bring her peace and a love so undeniable that she knows without a doubt that she is not alone. I pray that you would bring this circumstance to a close in your way and your time and for your glory and her best outcome. Jesus we trust and know that all things work according to your glory! You have this and you have Charlotte in your hands, willing that she will not perish but only get stronger in you. Please give her busy-ness if that what’s she needs to keep moving forward and not dwell on this situation. Jesus I pray you bring someone along side her to help comfort her.
